I've been on a number of tours like this in the UK and overseas, and this must be one of the best. The narration given by the guide was relaxed, convivial, humoured and informative. The historical detail was sufficient to interest without being overburdened with accurate but unnecessary detail.

I loved my 3 hour guided walk of Bath centre led by Sue last week. I highly recommend her as a tour guide: extremely knowledgeable and expert on all aspects of Bath's history and culture, flexible, and insightful. Sue was happy to accommodate my need for a rest and we enjoyed a lovely cup of tea in the Jane Austen... More

The city tours leave the Minster Cathedral square twice daily and we were lucky to take our walk with DIANA. She was so informative and obviously loves Bath and the volunteer job she does with passion. Not once did she umm or aargh and kept her dialogue flowing full of information and humour that one could not possible gain by... More

We had a private tour walk with Sue today. Just two of us and our little doggie. Sue was interesting and informative and lovely company for two hours. We checked out some of the places she had showed us again in the afternoon. A great guide and a lovely city.

Sue took our family on a lovely walking trip thru many years of history and artifacts! The walk was good and Sue always knew where bit of shade, a bench or a toilet was. Saw a lot of the area with her in the morning so that in the afternoon we knew where to go back for a closer look.... More

We arrived in Bath via train from London. Booked the Roman Bath tour on our own and then were met by Sue for a most delightful afternoon. This was our first visit to Bath and Sue was a wealth of information regarding history, architecture, food, back alleys, and more. Although the weather was nasty, we followed our lovely Sue through... More

A pleasant introduction to Bath, circulating the centre of the City - passing through some of most notable attractions. The history of the city is easy to follow - when presented by Sue -our thoughtful guide. After the centre of the city, the walking tour fans out to take in the famous Royal Crescent and the Circus - returning to... More

We booked a three hour private weekday tour with Sue for our one day in Bath. It was time well spent as she guided us around the town to all sorts of great sites, accompanied by all sorts of anecdotes and learnings. Loved hearing about the architecture and do not miss the fabulous tapestry. We could easily have spent more... More
