A great but tiny museum that doesn't draw huge crowds (but should!). Interactive fun for kids (and kids at heart) and a great little shop alongside it. Definitely check it out if only to dress up as a postie from the past.

The museum is tiny and staffed by very enthusiastic people. I was the only person in the museum the entire time I was there. The staff seemed excited to see a person and escorted me around for the first part of my visit. It didn't take long to see all of the items. There were a lot of interactive displays... More

My friend and I visited this wonderful, informative little museum of the post office which is situated under the main post office in the centre of Bath. It was fascinating. I would recommend it to everyone, truly an under used resource.

This little independent museum is well worth a visit. It is below the town's main post office with the entrance down some steps to the right of the door. All ages will enjoy the exhibits - some are interactive, some video recordings, a dressing up box, opportunities for drawing and a charming little shop with many items at pocket money... More

This is such a wonderful attraction, it should be given more space and more prominence. I wonder how many Bathonians have ever stopped, turned left, and descended to the basement, as they leave the typical, modern post office on the ground floor? There is a magnificent treasure beneath your feet! Here you will find a marvellous history of the British... More

This place is almost like a time-warp. It is small in size but makes up for it in meaning. It is entirely funded by entry fees so it was a pleasure to give the massive sum of £2.70 (I am a senior). I spent an enjoyable and fascinating half hour. It is not well sign posted and is in the... More

The Bath Post Museum is housed in the basement of what was the main Post Office in Bath. The old Post Office is now a shop, but the Postal Museum remains. There is a lift for access, and the museum depicts the history of the British postal service, with Bath having a key roll in its development. It covers the... More

After refusing to pay the over inflated admission fees for over attractions in Bath (Yes I know we're tight), we decided to visit the Postal museum and what a great decision. I found it interesting working for Royal Mail myself, but my girlfriend also found it really interesting. The staff in there are clearly passionate about what they do, which... More

We had a little time to kill before leaving Bath and thought the Postal Museum would entertain us for about half an hour. Well it was small inside but such a lot was packed into it that we didn't get out until over an hour later! It's a charming museum and very interesting. It's well set out with a good... More

It is a small museum but that is reflected in the very reasonable entry price. For the small size it is very well planned out and very informative. The staff were very friendly and are clearly passionate which is lovely to see. If you are like me and enjoy a quirky museum run by people who really enjoy working there... More
