I loved to travel up the linear path, the old track bed of the Somerset and Dorset Bath to Bournemouth and Burnham railway, closed in 1966. Gentle inclines of 1 in 50 maximum, pose no problem. Not really a park, more a metalled footpath between widely spaced hedges. As such its perhaps better for taking the dog for a walk along if you live nearby than along the road, but not much more than that. I think it'll find it's true purpose when it becomes part of the Two Tunnels Greenway and you can walk and... More
