Join one as soon as you get to town (and have had a pint at the Pig & Fiddle). Schedule and meeting place in front of the Pump Room at the Roman baths. Free walk, all the history and sights of Bath, and a great orientation to the physical lay out. Our guide was excellent even in the pouring rain.... More

And it's FREE people! You just show up. The guides refuse gratuity-clearly a sign of people who have a passion for what they do. I've traveled all over the world, some tours I've paid quite a bit for, some I haven't. This is one of the top tours I've experienced. It lasted slightly longer than 2 hours and put everything... It's free and they won't take tips so the guides are motivated by a genuine passion for Bath which we really appreciated. Our guide Richard was the best guide of any tours we've ever experienced and it's an excellent way of learning about the history and architecture of Bath.

An interesting and historically-informative walking tour of Bath. The guide was a local - friendly and knowledgable. Be prepared - it is 2+ hours in length so wear suitable shoes, etc. I guess if one does find it "boring", one could politely slip away - after all, it is completely free and there is nothing to lose.

Sometimes you get what you pay for in life. Maybe everyone else on TA had awesome tours. Or everyone is too kind since it is free. We did appreciate the free tour, in theory. Our guide maybe had an 'off' day. We were basically bored to the brink of tears. By the look on the faces of all others in... More

This was a very informative and interesting walking tour. A very good way to discover the city and to learn about Bath. Our guide, Andy, was lovely and very approachable.

This was very informative. Better than the hop on hop off bus. Its about 2 hours long so be prepared. But you can leave at anytime. Its great to learn so much about this fascinating city.

An unforgettable experience. A walk for two hours in the streets of the interesting places of BATH, excellent guides and they know almost everything, hard tackling them something they do not know about. Spicy stories from the past and present of the city. Meet at the Abbey Church Yard near the entrance to the Roman Baths Museum. And most importantly:... More
