An amazing FREE walking tour of Bath. Our guide 'Susan' was brilliant - she had great stories to tell as we walked the city. Entertaining and informative. The tour was over 2 hours (with regular updates on times and reminders for people who might need to 'get back' sooner than we were likely to be finished). Having visited Bath before... More

We really enjoyed this walking tour. The fact that it is free means in no way that it is of a lesser quality. The guides are working on a voluntary basis - on their own time - and don’t take tips. Judy was so delightful, very knowledgeable in Bath’s history as she is a local like most of the guides.... More

Difficult to believe you get anything for free these days. The tour guides will not accept tips or gratuities either and absolutely no hard sell of any attractions. This was a fantastic way to get to know the city and find out really interesting, memorable facts that you would not otherwise get the chance to find out. Our guide Clive... More

Fantastic free walking tour. Our guide was very good at explaining the history and gave us a lot of wonderful stories of Bath. He brought us back to the 18 century and really made our trip! I even can't believe it is free!!! I would highly recommend this tour. The schedule of the tour is written in front of the... More

The free City walking tour is a must-do in Bath. On the morning of our tour there were over eighty people although the four guides quickly divided up the groups and off we went. Michael our guide was excellent and gave us a wonderful insight into many of the main attractions as well as some other interesting bits and pieces... More

Our tour was absolutely wonderful and extremely informative. Our tour guide, John, was very good at giving us an overview of the history of Bath all while interjecting some humor to the tour. He urged us several times to drink some Bath water at the fountain in the Pump Room. We did--the water smelled very bad and tasted metallic. However,... More

Our extremely well informed guide showed us the beautiful buildings of Bath. She made history come alive as she described the important figures of Bath. One little tidbit: The expression "pin money" originates inthe 1800s. The high society ladies needed help pinning the trains of their gowns and thus paid some pin money.

Judy our wonderful guide took us back in time to the 18th century on our tour. For two lovely hours we stepped back in time and my favourite moment was imagining I was dancing in the assembly rooms. The tour really made our trip and I would highly recommend this tour.
