Had never seen this before- very well acted. Needed to book well before to get a choice of seats. Good theatre overall.

We went to watch Saturday Night Fever in this theatre. The production was excellent, and the view from the seats was really good. The building is really nice with superb decor. there are a few seats with a restricted view. I sat in one of these and the staff did warn me beforehand. The view was still very good, as... More

Brilliant production of Eric and Ern. I sat in a seat that was advertised as restricted leg room. In fact there was lots of room and comfy seats. It is a traditional theatre with a lovely ceiling.

Mainly theater plays which can be a bit boring, Would be better if there were more musicals like it is the case in Oxford.

Went to two excellent performances by English Touring Opera -- Ottone and Life on the Moon -- which worked well in this compact space. Our seats in the Royal Circle were, somewhat surprisingly, more-or-less on a level with the stage, which worked out well. The combination of venue and production worked very well.
