Took my mum along for a night out to watch the Beatles musical 'Let It Be'. Lovely theatre with modern and clean facilities. Great views of the stage from all areas of the theatre. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

When the cast is still corpsing with hysterics only 4 shows from the end of a run, its a sign they're enjoying it and giving their all. Used to hate panto, but with a young family, visits become compulsory and I've grown to love it. I was laughing at every dreadful joke twice - once when I saw it coming,... More

I would try and take in as much as I could when I was in Bath, and this should be part of it. Take the kids to this, they will enjoy it, take them to the park as well.

As an avid pantomime lover, I thought I would treat my partner and I to a night out in Bath. Firstly I was appalled at the ticket prices, much more than what we pay for our pantomime back home (Shrewsbury), even the cheap seats were pricey. Secondly, there was the lack of entertainment. I understand pantomimes are aimed at children,... More

My family had a wonderful time watching the show all the characters did a 5* job. The music was very currant, there were lots of jokes for the adults to have a little chuckle. Jack and the princes had amazing singing voices. It was Purley quality family time we will always remember. Thanks to 'what's on bristol' for recommending it to us.

The main theatre and the Ustinov (which is at the rear), have critically acclaimed productions, many going on to the West End. The main theatre has a small intimate atmosphere with a great ambiance. If you queue up 30 minutes before the performance there is every chance you can get a reduced price ticket. Recommend the Cote Brasserie in Milsom... More

The Theatre Royal in Bath is a medium sized theatre which attracts a wide variety of "big name" productions many of them en route to London. It also stages a Summer Season of plays which can be varied from "Whose afraid of Virginia Wolf" to "She stoops to Conquer". On of this year's productions, "Mrs Henderson Presents" opens in London...
