Being relatively close to London, the Theatre Royal punches above it's weight with big name productions, and Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None stars (amongst others) Paul Nicholas, Susan Penhaligon, Fraser Hines and others from 1970s and 80s British TV. Beautiful theatre! We had a seat in the stalls which was very comfortable with a great view. It's such a lovely very intimate venue. The show itself was excellent! The actors did a sterling job and had us laughing throughout. The lead male actor was superb!

The play which we went to on the 1April 2015 was excellently performed but several of those near me said that it was difficult to hear the voices of the actors - it would seem that the sound loop was either not switched on was faulty - pity, it spoilt the overall enjoyment of the evening

Gorgeous theatre just don't go to see Joseph!!! If you know the show/play is a good one it couldn't be watched in a nicer venue.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Musical Oh What a Lovely War. A full house appreciated the talents of all the actors especially the ones taking numerous parts. A great night out.

Booked seats in the Dress Circle but found the stairs difficult as there is no lift. Beautiful theatre

We went to see Rebecca expecting a traditional murder mystery type performance. What we got was amazing - music, comedy, drama and more from an amazing cast. Top notch. The theatre itself is a beautiful building, harking back to its glorious past. Leg room a little tight as expected, but being such a small theatre moving around was no problem... More

One of those in Bath things to do, if the performances align with your fancy ( and even better if you do not have parking costs in Bath) Arrive without the car, walk, cycle, bus, train, taxi etc...
