This park is like the 'green' half of a wander around Bath's historic sites. The Crescent kind of leads into Victoria Park, and you can see lovely views of Bath from various points. If you have kids, the play area is pretty big with all sorts of toys and climbers and stuff. If after the big open spaces, you're wanting... More

When I had the pleasure of living in Bath, I visited Victoria Park on a regular basis, whether it was for a jog, a picnic or to study. You really have to remind yourself that you are on the outskirts of a busy city centre! It is usually possible to find a quiet area even on the busiest of days... More

We enjoyed exploring this beautiful park even with rain during part of our visit (typical English weather!) It's well planned, with helpful maps of different features and areas, gorgeous plants, lots of side trails to explore or stay more on the main paths. For families visiting Bath, there is a large playground in 1 area with good restroom facilities, Carousel,... More

If you are looking for a place to relax while visiting Bath, this is the place. The park is maintained well and because there is a charge to enter it deters some guests from visiting. Beautiful, relaxing, quiet retreat.

This was (and still IS) a place where I found great capacity to ponder and think on the great issues of my time (including whether I had any chance of succeeding in getting a date with the belle of the campus as well as the more accepted weighty questions of the day - such as as how Entropy MIGHT be... Great park and really relaxing. The charges helps to prevent overcrowding and you can thus really just sit, relax and take in the beautiful landscape of the park or walk along the riverbank. Best views for photographing Pulteney Bridge.

A very nice place to relax and enjoy your picnic. There is a small entrance fee so please bear that in mind. There are loungers and in the middle of the afternoon what better place to relax and have a nap and read the your papers. It is also a safe place for children to run around. The flowers are... More
