A very nice place to relax and enjoy your picnic. There is a small entrance fee so please bear that in mind. There are loungers and in the middle of the afternoon what better place to relax and have a nap and read the your papers. It is also a safe place for children to run around. The flowers are... More

We visited in August and our two kids loved the huge playground. It's so much bigger than any other playground I've seen in a public park before. Our daughter loved the play park. Loads to do, clean, tidy and roomy. There was a bouncy castle, drinks, food and ice cream on site.

The park is quite large and nicely laid out. We were more interested in the botanic garden that are located in the park. It contains species of some rare trees and plants. Quite enjoyable walking around there.

I studied in Bath years ago and never got as far as the botanical gardens until yesterday when we went for a romantic walk in the rain and discovered the sculpture of the green man (from a tree that had died naturally) and beautiful views of Bath.

Just walking distance from the Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, The Royal Victoria Park is not just your average park. Its a beautiful quiet little park, perfect for its floral designs and horticulture. Its a perfect place for relaxing with the family, reading a book, grabbing coffee with a friend or two. A real little haven right in the centre of... More

This was a lovely surprise which we came across when walking back from the Royal Crescent. Beautiful grounds and a nice little cafe serving a range of hot and cold snacks and drinks.
