The Bath Ales real ale bar was a real find at this racecourse. It is a small course and the facilities were a bit limited on a weekday evening meeting. However, there was a lovely atmosphere, the parking was well organised and the sun shone! The tannoy was difficult to hear in places but otherwise, hard to find fault.

We picked the Bath Racecourse over any other venue in Bath due to several things. Firstly, the large space offered a perfect amount of room for our 300 guests! The interior was lovely, a standard white 'marquee look' with hard flooring, tables and chairs (with white or black cloths) and chandeliers (on dimmer switches), but we could modify it to... More

We had not been to Bath Racecourse since the late 1980's but decided to take in their May 2015 Bank Holiday Raceday having regularly attended the much larger venues at Newbury and Ascot. Bath's advantage is it is very compact, which means you can very easily see the horses, walk to the betting ring and then back to watch the... More

I've never been to a horse race before. This was a corporate day out - finish work early and take a coach to the race course. Mike the driver slowly wended through East Bristol, out beyond the ring road and up the hill to Bath race course. He turfed us out by the main entrance and ordered us to be... More

Small race course with limited amenities but lots of fun. It can get a bit windy so wrap up warm. Be prepared to queue for drinks as the bar is small.

Dear Bianca, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to say we now have 3 bars open on our big meetings and 2 open on our smaller meetings to reduce the bar ques. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Kind regards More

Great little course and especially good when they hold beer festivals at the meeting. Facilities are not great but as one reviewer says it's not Ascot.

Dear Manofleyth, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are pleased to say our Beer Festival is back by popular demand and will be taking place on Friday 5th June with live music after racing from Mercury, a Queen tribute band. We hope to see you there. Kind regards More

An excellent first visit on the 14th. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day's events from the luxury of one of the hospitality suites - directly over the finishing post. Food and service was superb and, placing bets was simple enough - we even had a little luck too!

Friendly little racetrack, although it is small course with just the one stand and not enough bars. The bar staff seem to be hired just for race day and whilst they were friendly enough they had no idea on how to serve or what price to charge (4 beers and a coke came to £37.20 and then we had a... Visited Bath primarily to go the races for the Irish themed day, paid £20 to sit in the grandstand, but was very unimpressed by this wooden shack of a building that could barely fit 200 people. We ended up siting on a park bench by the finishing line. The racing itself was enjoyable, but the facilities were really poor, waited... More

This was my first visit to Bath Racecourse, a Saturday afternoon for "Irish Day". Parking was very easy just outside the venue. There was some basic entertainment around the Irish theme. Tickets for the Grandstand enclosure were £17 bought in advance (which is about the same as for a Conference football match so not bad value). My group did not... More
