I would like to talk about this place called the Roman Baths that I visited. As we enter this place, we see a very nice atmosphere which starts with if I remember correctly, the Temple of Aqua Zuilus. Then we have the sun God and it follows.. We then step to a room where we have all the pillars kept... more

We visited the Roman Baths on Tue 3/11/09. I was really impressed by the place. It is so different from anything else i've seen and gives you a sense of what it must have been like all those years ago. The building was fairly large in its day and some of it is still to be excavated but the bits... more

We visited the Roman Baths & Bath Abbey as part of a tour to Stonehenge that I had booked through www.discount-london-tours.com/ (check them out, great prices!) and we enjoyed it very much. I can honestly say that these ruins were just as intact and as interesting as some of the ruins I have seen in Rome. Get the audio guide... more

We spent a few hours at the Roman baths and it was well worth the visit. The place is well laid out with plenty of information. The collection of artifacts was amazing (we've been to Rome and this collection was more complete than many there), and the baths very well preserved. A lovely addition is having 'actors' roming around, we... more

Shame you can't bathe in them and i think it's expensive but still glad to have been and would have felt missing something if didn't go. Ticket... more

This place is amazing. My 13 year old son and I went at dusk and were blown away. The baths were spectacular and hardly any other visitors there. We stayed until we were chucked out but could have stayed longer. The audio guide was great and so informative. The museum, the setting, the history captured the imagination of us both... more

I had been to the Roman Baths once before as a little girl (a long time ago) and, while I don't recall every second of the visit, I had remembered it being a fascinating trip. My partner and I happened to be in the area recently and decided that we should take the opportunity to visit. We paid £11 each,... more

We really enjoyed our time at the Roman Baths although it was very busy so I would say get there early if you can! The audio guide is good too and even had Bill Bryson talking on it. There is so much to see and it really is a worthwhile experience. more

What a neat thing to see. It was easy to imagine the beauty of the place back in the day. THey have costumed people/characters there for pictures and answering questions. Arrive early and make a 1/2 day of it. more
