We visited in a small group of 4 adults exclusively to fly the owls and hawks; we were not disappointed! The young 19 year old bird handler Damion, clearly has empathy with these wild birds and they respond to his encouragement and feeding patterns. He has extensive knowledge way beyond his years gained because he keeps birds in aviaries at... More

We visited one really rainy day, so our enjoyment was marred... as we can tell that the experience is FAR better during good weather. So, this review is slightly tainted by the fact that we didn't get the 'full' experience. We thought that it was well worth a visit, although what made it really worthwhile was the flying of the... It was amazing having a hawk and owl flying towards me and settling on my hand! The staff are very enthusiastic and the displays are informative. Dela the owl is a real gem and loves performing for the crowds! Don't miss the little chapel by the entrance - it's beautiful inside.

I stayed at Exmoor Falconry over a year ago...but I've just spotted them on Tripadvisor and felt like I had to comment because I am SO surprised by any bad comments. I thought it was Fantastic! I stayed at their B&B for 6 days, spent 2 full days riding, and 2 full days doing the Falconry Course...and as an Australian... More

One only expected to spend a couple of hours but spent the day and could have stayed longer. The birds are obviously well cared for and the flights very interesting and informative. It was amazing to be able to fly them ourselves as well. I will definatley go again.

We visited in Aug 2011 (not B&B or one of the walks). The price was about £22 for 2 adults, 1 child, 1 toddler: not pricey, but not cheap either. There is a good range of different owls (about a dozen) and a few other birds of prey in their huts with interesting information about each. There are few animals... More

Some of the other reviews on here were mealy mouthed to say the least - everything exceeded our expectations, Kathy the owner was lovely, couldnt do enough for us, room really pretty and comfortable, views over the gardens lovely, breakfast brilliant, massive choice and really really good value. Dont go if you expect shops and hustle bustle as you wont... More

Myself and my girlfriend did the owl river walk and it was fantastic. We got really close to many different and beautiful owls, flew them to and from our gloves and fed them. It was an amazing experience.

We stayed here recently, I wouldn't recommend it. We stayed a couple of nights with baby and dog. Great that they take both. It is very tired and shabby and needs a complete overhaul. The room smelt musty and of previous pets. Housekeeping wasn't great I would say dirty. Our son was crawling on the bedroom floor and picked up... More

Far too much money for too little entertainment. Animals are few and far between and while the Owl show was interesting, I did not find the staff friendly or particularly willing to answer questions. The shows of birds in flight are too far apart with little or nothing to do in between. A walk around the enclosures takes about 20... More
