Once visiting Shrewsbury, you should take a walking tour. A ticket costs £5, and it takes about 90 minutes to walk around. A guide will take you from place to place giving historical facts about the city and places. You can buy a ticket at the tourist information centre, situated right behind the Market Hall.

The walk can be gained either from the web or the tourist information centre. There is parking just outside the tourist information centre as well as other car parks too.
