The staff need to be praised first, because without them most of us would wander aimlessly for the full visit to the Archives. They have been helping me in my never ending search for family for a long time. Whether in person or by email, they always deliver. And if the search is probably going to be hopeless, they usually... For those of us into amateur genealogy of Shropshire this is a little gem. Really helpful staff who are run off their feet because of staff cuts. Even has a nice little side room for drinks and locker storage.

Right now, lots of different kitchen countertops can be seen in the market. While quartz worktops are regarded to be the premium and best among these, granite worktops alternatively is viewed to be the best candidate for a very good kitchen advancement material considering that it is an igneous rock.

We're pursuing family history, and the people at the Archives Office (over 3 different days, so 3 different sets of staff) were universally supportive and ready to help us understand things we hadn't fully appreciated at first. When it came to finding the hidden bits - especially since we were on a tight timetable - they went out of their... More

LOvely librarian gave us a fantastic tour and produced all sorts of historic documents of relevance. But there are also lots of reference materials whcih are useful for finding historical information - even going back before the Normans!

Excellent search facilities and can get a day pass easily. Having family from the area there is so much to follow up that when I go next time I shall go for the 5 year pass. Staff wonderfully helpful and if you do have any connection with the area, well worth a visit

Having visited Shropshire Archives to research family history I was looking forward to viewing the wonderful location, the building is set behind the beautiful Town Library in Shrewsbury. However once in, a very glum and rude woman behind the desk barked orders at me in a regimental fashion and was of no help whatsoever. I feel Shropshire Council may wish... More
