Beautiful serene place to sit and dream. The flowers were lovely and colour coordinated. The trees around the lake provided shade and there was a small remembrance garden.

A beautiful place at any time of year. Lots of benches for you to sit and enjoy this well looked after area. The spring/ summer blooms are always amazing . The grass is always well looked after to. Always a pleasure to bring our guests to Shrewsbury here. A peaceful place so near to the town centre.

No visit to Shrewsbury without a visit to The Dingle in The Quarry would be complete. No matter what time of year you visit the gardens are not to be missed. There are beautiful views accross the River Severn to Shrewsbury School & boathouses.

We visited The Quarry including Percy Throwers "Dingle" during the Food Festival both were excellent. The Food Festival was extremely well run and very enjoyable, a great atmosphere and everyone was having a great time.
