Myself & my husband first visited back in 2010 whilst on holiday in Shropshire, we enjoyed the experience so much that we booked another hawk walk plus a bird handling experience for us & our 14 year old son for our holiday this year! Just as much fun as the first time around, cannot recommend this highly enough!! Mark &... More

Based behind Battlefield Food Shop, which has toilets and a cafe, the Falconary centre has a range of hawks and owls. A Hawk walk is an excellent way to get up close with your bird. Remember your camera for the action pictures. The walk takes about 3/4 hour and my experience was more informative than I had expected. Would recommend... More

Booked for me as a birthday present from my wife I couldn't' have enjoyed this more. Thrilling experience! Oscar the Hawk was very keen and a delight to behold. The staff at the centre were great and our guide on the walk, Tony, was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable which only added to the already great experience.

My daughter (14 years old) and I booked this experience for July 23, 2015. I hadn't ever been on an excursion like this before and didn't know what to expect. I was trying to involve a 14 year old in something other than the internet. I thought this might work. The experience was amazing. I had the best time, as... More

Spent a memorable 2 hours walking in the beautiful Shropshire countryside with a pair of Harris Hawks flying to your gloved hand and handling a variety of owls. Mark and Tony led our walk sharing their knowledge along the way. They were informative, humorous and enthusiastic. They must have done this many times before but such is their passion for... More

Was invited by two friends to join them on this day out as I keep birds myself (finches and parakeets). What a great day out, wonderful to handle the owls and have the Falcons fly to your glove. The proprietor was first class in his explaining all about the birds and helped to make the day most enjoyable .To top it... More

Took my son here as his birthday gift and he was very excited about the idea. He thoroughly enjoyed the handling session with the owls (babies were there at the time as an added bonus) and was even more impressed by the walk with the harris hawks. This was my second visit and not likely to be my last.
