If you are in Ludlow St Laurence Church is an absolute must for its magnificent stained glass windows and medieval choir stalls - completely breathtaking. I am not a Christian but loved the atmosphere in the church. It is calm, relaxed and welcoming but also vibrant - the people running the gift shop(which is in the church itself with a... More

As a regular visitor to Ludlow i pop in the Church to buy charity xmas cards, architecture both internally and externally is stunning, well worth a look in, even if you're not religious. Excellant bell ringing on a Sunday morning if you happen to be in town. More

This church was beautiful and quite surprising in a small town. Unfortunately, we visited when they were building staging for an event in the evening so the people were preoccupied and no-one made us feel very welcome. However, it was well worth the visit. More

It's quite a large church and does have quite a bit of notable history to it. If you can make it up the steps to the bell tower, the views over Ludlow and the local area are... More

If you get the chance, climb the millions (or so it feels!) of steps up the tower for fantastic views across Ludlow and the countryside beyond. Well worth the effort. More

This is a magnificient, large church that, together with the castle dominates Ludlow. It contains a wealth of stain glass but the carved misericords with their depiction of medieval life in the chancel are not to be missed. Also in the chancel is a stone that indicates the place where the heart of Prince Arthur, the brother of Henry V111... More
