Great views over the river and down Ironbridge Gorge

Walked over the historic bridge and called at Darcy's café opposite for coffee and light lunch. The river views were splendid.

Visited Iron Bridge on a weekend away, excellent place to visit and there is lots of information to tell you about the construction of the bridge. would have been nice to see the banks of the river light up at night, like leading up to the bridge, but still and excellent to visit. No complaints, would recommend.

This amazing bridge was conceived and built in 3 years in a completely new design! How long would it take now??? We have a lot to learn from our predecessors!!

Myself and my teenage son decided to go for a relaxing day out in Ironbridge. We had a really lovely look in all the shops and bought some nice things. We took a stroll over the Ironbridge and had a walk in the woods for about 45 minutes, then headed back over the bridge to have a look at the... More

We came here this afternoon for a day out. Situated near telford you can find the bridge by putting the postcode TF8 7JP into your satnav. There are plenty of places to park up for free. The bridge is surprisingly quite small but picturesque in a beautiful backdrop across the river severn. There is a walk nearby that takes about... More

I have visited the site a few times now. My initial impressions were how small the bridge actually is when you see it in person. When it is seen in photographs it looks so much larger than it actually is. The place is lovely, and you can easily spend a couple of hours having a nice walk, a coffee and... More
