First, let me say that I have absolutely no personal connection with the Riverside Tea Room and therefore am utterly impartial. I note the negative comment from "traveller431", but can only say that, having been to this establishment for the first time today, the service was so exceptional that I shall be returning in the future. Indeed, the extremely pleasant... More

We have been here a couple of times now ..nice place to look around and pick up some unusual stuff. We decided to have a coffee and cake today in the cafe and could not fault it..lovely lattes..homemade apple and cinammon cake , very friendly and polite and quick service. Would recommend and will return next time we visit.

We called in here for a drink and cakes several times during a week's stay in Ironbridge. To begin with we were attracted by the free wi-fi, but the coffee and the cheese scones and especially the outstanding hot chocolate kept us coming back for more. Friendly service, good atmosphere, welcoming to dogs (not that we've got one ourselves, but... More

Many thanks for the kind comments! We always work hard to make the experience as good as we can for our customers, the girls enjoy it so it's really nice when it gets noticed. Hope to see you again in the future. More

I will not recommend this place to anyone. The girl and man behind the café counter are rude and both had a sour face. No customer service skills. I asked about sitting with my two year old daughter in the corner seats, as they had no high chairs for children, and I wanted my daughter to be able to sit... More

I expected this post as you did promise to tell everybody how bad it was as you left and were asked not to return. It’s a shame business owners don’t have the opportunity to post about rude customers on a public forum, I was very tempted post the CCTV footage of your behaviour but won’t lower myself to revenge. Some... More

This cafe was highly recommended to me by various people so though I'd take a trip myself and take a look. It looks lovely as you walk in but don't be fooled. The service wasn't up to much I got serviced my a very sour faced young girl who didn't smile once was quite rude and short, also the piece... More

Really disturbed to read this review, this does not reflect what we do so I'm not convinced this is actually a review of our place as there are too many things that don't ring true but will respond accordingly anyway. Firstly, its a shame that if things were so bad that you didn't mention this during your visit as this... More

Nice oldy world shop lots of treasures to be found, cafe is nice and the cake is amazing! Dog friendly too which is fab for us walkers. Only thing I felt let the shop down was the lindy bop section too new for that sort of shop just looked odd

Many thanks for your kind comments they are much appreciated after the hard work and effort we put in to make sure we please as many people as possible! We also appreciate and take on board any comments/observations and yours regarding the Lindy Bop is certainly valid, they were only there for around 4 weeks while we got our new... More

Have been visiting them for a long time, they are cheerful, pleasant and helpful. My regular is a cheese scone and a cup of tea, its delicious and very good value for money. I am now taking a friend who used to come with me regularly but now has altzheimers, and they were very welcoming, even remembering him and saying... More

Pop in here regularly for a look round even if we don't buy anything. Also it's dog friendly so ideal when we are walking the pooch. Very reasonably priced coffee shop (also dog friendly) with very friendly staff. Overall recommended for a visit if in Ironbridge.

Love this place and visit often, always lots to see and very well priced compared to some. The Tearoom is a little gem and I have taken all my family there many times, the staff are always really friendly and fantastic with the children, despite comments I have seen but being in a tourist area I would guess you can... Whilst in Ironbridge we decided to visit this interesting centre & were not disappointed, there are many antique & craft outlets there & lots of things to see & rummage through, this is a great way to spend some time & there is also some tea rooms on site for refreshments.
