Stumbled on here while on a bike ride. The craft and antique items beautifully laid out. The prices were very good. Had I not been on a bike there were several items I would have snapped up. Called into the riverside tea rooms for a cream tea. Delicious. pot of leaf tea in china cups with free refill. Staff friendly... More

I have visited this arts and crafts centre on several occasions and always find something to spend my money on. There are inexpensive items, plus some higher value goods. The range is good, and some of the craft items are ingenious. I really recommend people visit. My only complaint is the cakes are so delicious I have to eat some.... More

Took my mum and Aunty and we all loved it. There was a lovely mixture of antiques, retro and new craft items. We were there ages browsing the different stores in a lovely relaxing atmosphere. We thought everything was very reasonably priced. I intend to bring my daughter and other friends too. It was so easy to find right next... More

Great place to go with family on a wet and windy day. Plenty to keep the kids entertained! Take plenty of money though!

If you love browsing this is the place to do it, lots of variety and price range to suit all. Some really unusual things on offer. Finished off with a coffee and lovely piece of carrot cake!

Arts and crafts-possibly. Antiques? At a stretch. We stopped here at 3.45pm enticed by the antiques sign board and adverts for a tea room. Having failed to find it on the turn into Merrythought 'village'-hidden and badly signed, we parked in the Pay & Display next door as the tearoom was advertised as 'waterside' and we thought it must be... Thanks for your feedback, we have had 1000s of visitors this year and this is the first negative comment we have had so would like to know what went wrong, would be interested to know what date it was so I can play the CCTV back to see the time you came in and identify the member of staff. We were just trying to keep out of the rain but were delighted to come across this Aladdin's Cave full of curios and interesting objects.

I enjoyed my visit. I found the centre by accident, having parked my car on the public car park and then noticed the sign for the art and craft centre. I had a pot of tea and slice of cake. The tea pot had a snazzy knitted cover, as do all the tea pots. I spent a while browsing around... More
