Down near the junction of Chesterfield Road and Abbeylane awaits the visitor a sturdy climb on a muddy trail near a brook coming down. One pictures himself in the jungle, with the invisible city traffic passing by on a few meters distance. Up there is a... More

Fab place to take the kids. Free farm which is great, has a good selection of animals to feed and pet. Can buy pellets to feed the animals at the little shack in the middle of the yard. Massive park for walking and playing football with the kids. Lovely play area too and a little café.

First impressions last and on entering this cafe it was very evident that cleanliness was not at the top of daily duties carried out. It was around 11.45am and was before any busy period and the floors were filthy with no evidence of being swept recently. The plastic tablecloths were filthy, with old food stuck to them, surely the idea... More

A large park which is family friend and not far from the city centre. Parking can be an issue around the park. The on site farm is brilliant and an excellent day out for kids. Animal feed can vs purchased to feed some of the animals.

We first walked through the park down to the lake and then up to the rare breeds centre. From there we went up to the cafe for... More
