I visited Graves park in March 2014. What I enjoyed most about it was the variety of animals in the farm section. In other communal parks with animals, there aren't a lot of different types, but here there was. I would recommend going for an hour or two.

It claims to be dog friendly, but when you go to the cafe, dogs aren't allowed in. I commented on this and the lady serving was very rude saying they were dog friendly as they had dog parking out the front. This was in the sun with absolutely no shade whatsoever and it was over 24 degrees outside. I quickly... More

I remembered coming here as a child my self, so decided to take my own. He did really enjoy it although scared of most the animals when up close. The animals are in a really bad way and should not be kept there. The cafe was not nice at all. But the playground was amazing with every thing children want... More

Small farm where children could feed some of the animals. Very large area of grass where you could picnic and play footie or games, even BBQ if so desired. Excellent park for children, large variety of playground activities, only issue was that the zip wire was broken. Small cafe for food & drink, also Pitch & Putt at a good... More

This park is great for the whole family, a wide variety of animals to see and interact with. The parking is not too expensive and access to the farm is free. A lovely day out with a big park to walk around. The park is lovely and great for children of all children.

I think people this this as it free, but that is because its council run therefore they don't put a lot of money into it, which you can see this by the poor quality pens and the state they were kept in, it was a real shame. Saying that however the cows not on the farmyard and in the big... More

We love going to graves park, our little boy is two and loves the animals he is very confident with animals. Lots of open spaces for children to run around a adult to sit and take in the scenery. The land train is fantastic too and very reasonable prices too. We would advice to take a picnic as the cafe... More

Great for children to see the animals. I particularly enjoy walking my dog around it in the summer and then walking down to Woodseats which has a lovely chippy.

Most people will go to Graves Park for the farm which is excellent and free but don't forget there's a good play area, lake, cafe and pitch and putt too. Bring changes of clothes if your kids want the sand pit though because it always seems to be wet.

I was told about this park by some friends when I first moved to sheffield. I thought because I don't have kids it would be a nightmare, but actually it wasn't bit was a beautiful walk around the gardens and the stream. Very pleasant, but would be more ideal for families of course.
