Probably my favourite formal park in Sheffield. It has everything, ponds, woodlands, streams, water birds, an amazing quirky farm, a great cafe, grassland nature reserves, fabulous vistas of the Peaks beyond Sheffield and it was given to the citizens of this great city by a true philanthropist - JG Graves.

I live near Graves Park and never tire of visiting. A lovely park with a selection of livestock, play area and café. I have even managed to find a family of Goldcrests nesting near the church entrance!

We live nearby and often walk our dog through the woods, park and farm at Graves Park. It is always well kept and beautiful whatever the weather. There are various trails with paths suitable for wheelchairs and buggys both in the woods and park. There are trails that would not be suitable but these can be seen before starting your... More

The park area is huge with lots of different play equipment for all ages, and a sand pit! The park itself is huge so lots of paths to explore!

It is a very large park and has a good variety of swings, slides etc. The youngsters really enjoy that as well as the small are with animals. You will often see a new litter of pigs etc.

I have visited Graves Park many times with my Family and friends. It's a lovely place - great cafe, smashing little rare breeds farm where you can feed the animals and a modern park with lots of space!! What's not to love?!

I have know this park since I was very small, living close by in those days. Today it is a calm tranquil place where dog walkers can wander to their hearts content, children and play and visit the wild animals and sport is played ALL at the same time, with no activity interfering with the enjoyment of others.
