You can rely on the Crucible to put on the highest quality work and its a wonderful atmosphere in the venue. I recommend watching stuff you haven't seen and checking out the Studio as well.

We greatly enjoy our frequent trips to the Lyceum. However, we excitedly await a trip to the Crucible. This place and it's productions are brilliant. You feel more a part of the performance and the place is clean and well cared for. We go again in January to see 'Anything Goes.' We can't wait for the fun we will have.

I love how it feel as though you are part of the action, rather than the action played two dimensionally in front of you. PS the seats provide much better legroom than the ones than the ones in the Lyceum.

Nice venue luckily only 45 minute performance as the seats/benches were not very comfortable. Great play and very nice bar and helpful staff

Brilliant venue, we went for the world snooker championship, lovely theatre, centrally located and close to shops, the town centre, local hotels, restaurants and most amenities. The terrible shame is the bar area, it is more like a bus station cafe! I am so glad I hadn't had the privilege package of a brown paper bag that staff were throwing... More

I have seen a few productions at this theatre and love the central stage location relative to the seating - no matter where you sit you're close to the action. Oliver and My Fair Lady were particularly special due to the cast using the aisles as part of the set and being amazing productions of course. Great atmosphere. Looking forward... More
