Went to see the Snooker World Championship, it's a wonderful venue for the sport - intimate without being on top of each other, cameras never get in the way and everyone has a great view. Not seen any plays or theatre, but for the same reasons mentioned above I imagine it's fantastic. It also has a well priced bar (in... More

The Crucible is particularly good for feeling close to the performance. It is not a big theatre, and the seating is in a semi circle around the stage. Wherever you sit you can see well. My last visit was to see Pride and Prrjudice - excellent cast and direction.

This is a well known theater where the audience sits on three sides, giving a unique feel to the performance. The total refurbishment has also added to the whole experience. It is well worth a visit to watch a performance.

The venue is excellent, its very well maintained and clean. The staff there were all helpful and seemed to want to help. When watching snooker on the TV it looks a lot bigger than it is. If you are watching the snooker there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house

This is a fantastic venue to watch the snooker as well as some seriously good theatre. It's well managed with a decent bar area. The venue gives a very 'intimate' feel which is probably why it's used for the snooker but works equally well for plays etc too!

Lucky enough to attend the semies of the snooker, fantastic experience. Small intimate venue with a great view from every seat. Bar and betting available and the free cloakroom is a perk!

Everything under one roof, coffee shop, restaurant, top class plays/celebrities. World Professional Snooker Championship is played here every Year, you don't even have to buy a ticket to see the matches unless you want to get up close to the Professionals and soak up the Atmosphere. Outside they provide a seating area for you to watch on a large screen.... More
