Great 'in the round' performing area in both the main house and studio. Like most theatres the seats are not the comfiest, especially for those with longer legs. The in-house café has a limited but very tasty selection of snacks and meals. Bar is fine, but the sweets and ice creams are very over priced. Bring your own bag(s) of... More

We enjoyed another great night at the Studio in The Crucible. The Effect by Lucy Prebble was riveting and thoroughly deserving of the awards it has received. The beauty of the Studio is that it is set up differently for each production. This time it was tiled in white with white seating bringing the audience right into the emotion of... More

Iconic venue for me. Visited for the world championship snooker. It lived up to it's name. Small and intimate venue, comfy seating. Great experience.

We have been going to watch the World Snooker for years (far too many to mention!) We were lucky enough to witness the fastest ever 147 by Ronnie which is going back a few years. The theatre itself is always well organised, the stewards are fabulous always happy to help and very informative and even though we have only seen... More

What could be better than having an evening meal followed by first class entertainment. Where ever you are seated you will have an excellent view of the stage. You feel as though you are part of the show. It is a privilege to be so close to many top quality stars.

I've been to the crucible many times over the years and seen many a great show! Going back to see dirty rotten scoundrels and jersey boys this year.

My wife and I find the Crucible Theatre a lovely, intimate theatre with an open stage. The last couple of visits were for musicals which were both very well performed and received. The whole audience were entranced with the performances and we all had a thoroughly entertaining time. Would recommend this as a great venue.
