Being a regular at The Crucible since the early days - "The Stirrings..." and a devotee of the snooker - 1/4 final, Perry Mans V Fred Davis 1978, I can state without hesitation that it is the finest theatre in the country. There is no such thing as a bad seat. It is comfortable and has a superb catalogue of... More

Particularly I like the Crucible because you have a great view no matter where you sit and also the productions done there are of top quality so it is no... More

Late booking not much choice of seats, but guided by box office staff had brilliant seats to the side of stage, good view of all the action. Talented cast, rich voices and a production that left you spell bound.

I visited to see Waiting for Godot. The production was excellent. I had a front row seat, which was ideal. The seat could have been a little more comfortable - by the end of the performance I certainly needed to move! However, it was worth it to see the play.

What an absolutely astonishing play 'Waiting for Godot' is and how it stands the test of time. And the Crucible production is perfect in all respects. The cast is first-rate and Lorcan Cranitch as Vladimir is an absolute genius; the finest example of naturalistic acting I've come across in fifty years of theatre-going. The set is beautifully mesmerising. I giggled... More
