Historic theatre, friendly staff and beautiful decor, unfortunately hampered by the limited legroom. Often find my my mind beginning to wander and focus more on my discomfort rather than the action on the stage. Which is a shame because there are many good productions at this theatre.

This theatre has put on excellent shows. Let it be, was the last show we went to see. Beatles through their career, we sang, clapped and cheered. No matter were you sit, the sound is very good. It's an old theatre , classic in its interior.

This show is spectacular. The dancing is the best I have ever seen in any show. The leading characters were amazing and the supporting actors equally so. If there are any tickets left, treat yourself and go and see it.

Saw the matinee on 5/7/14, very good production in a lovely little theatre. The Lyceum appears very modern as you enter the foyer and bar area, but the main hall has a lot of charater. I recommend seeing west side story anywhere on its tour and also recommend visiting the Lyceum to see anything. My friends and I combined seeing... More

West Side Story's touring production was extraordinarily good, let down only by a very weak intro' to the Sharks and Jets but what followed - wow! We all know the story of Romeo and Juliet - updated to West Side Story, seen the film times many, have the DVD but to see it live, on stage, you could almost be... More

Went to see west side story last night. Theatre beautiful and far outshines those to be found in London. Sadly one of the seats we had in the balcony had been repaired with duct tape - think it actually needs replacing but otherwise a great evening in a great venue

This is a truely fabulous venue for the extensive range of National Touring Productions. Go for a seat in the Gods, in the middle - a great view, you get all the atmosphere and an absolute bargain !!

Plenty of parking and restaurants nearby for a pre-theatre meal. The entrance to the theatre can get congested so go a little earlier. The interior is lovely and in the old traditional style.Seats are quite comfortable and tickets for the Circle worthwhile for a great view of the stage. The bar areas are comfortable and quite contemporary.A further refurbishment due soon so they...
