I accidently (?!) booked a back row seat in the balcony. Thankfully there were seats available and I moved forward. About five rows back towards the centre gave a good view. Some people on the front row of the balcony moved in the interval, as leg room was restricted in that particular row. I saw King Charles III - a... More

I have been several times but this was by far the best performance we have seen at the Lyceum ..my only complaint is its like being on a Ryan air flight !! You can only sit side saddle for so long . Its a beautiful but tiny theatre .

Absolutely fabulous. The young lady who played the lead on Saturday night is a star in the making. What a performance. Leslie Joseph was brilliant too a real trooper. The rest of the cast was spot on both singing and dancing. Top top top. Thanks for a great night.

Me my partner and daughter aged 7 went to see Annie this month for a Christmas present. My review is based solely on the theatre not the performance (because that was great from the very start) On arriving we had high hopes as to the seat we had been assigned being on the balcony. We were very surprised to find... More

Okay, I like the venue it is a typically Victorian theatre, looks beautiful, very well kept and some great musical and plays are staged here. I have seen Shakespeare, musicals and pantomimes here all very good. I'm not a big fan of heights and some theatres can make you nauseous in the cheap seats but I have to admit that... More

Visited to watch An inspector calls at the weekend. I've never been here before, only watched shows at the crucible. But this is a real traditional theatre and looks fabulously historic, so yes, a little dated and tired show curtains for example. But on the third row the seats were great, although I did have a stiff neck looking upwards... More

Some friends and I attended at this theatre to see An Inspector Calls last weekend and the Lyceum is such a beautiful theatre. Unfortunately we were near the back on the balcony and the view wasn't amazing but I would definitely go here again but try to book sooner and get seats closer to the front in future.
