Full Monty - Full Marks

A very enjoyable evening at the lyceum watching the newest production of this modern classic. Good acting all round especially the young boy.

Excellent show and the theater is lovely and clean. Great size and very clean inside the theatre itself however myself and my friend are tall and were a little uncomfortable due to how tight the seats were with very little leg room (knees pressed against the seat infront)

I visited here with a group of 7 girls to see the full monty, the Lyceum is a lovely building a proper old fashioned theatre which I love,we sat on the 2nd tier and had a great view, not sure what the view would be like at the top and far back. A bar and toilets are not far and ice cream... More

I went with friends from work to see The Full Monty. The theatre had a refurb quite a few years ago and is modern and clean. The staff are smart and very friendly. It has an adequate sized bar and the prices are reasonable. We were sat in the stalls a few rows from the front. There is seating for... More

The Lyceum is a nice theatre - it's been done up in recent years I believe and is a lovely place to see a play. The acoustics are good, you can see without trouble (though bare in mind I was in the Stalls) and it's wheelchair friendly, but incidentally I noticed the people sitting behind wheelchairs couldn't see so well... We visited here as a family for 'Singalong with Frozen' early on the Saturday of Easter weekend. Having not been to the theatre before, I was amazed by how the refurbishments had managed to keep many of the original features, but looked so new and fresh. Whilst food and drinks were available, I would certainly recommend ordering interval drinks due... More

I viswited for The King's Speech. The theatre is comfortable, with bars, good decoration and a lift. The play was very good, funny and poignant. Staf were friendly and helpful. The online booking system worked well and tickets were sent promptly in the mail. I sat in the second row of the balcony. The view was fine. Any further back... More

Last night my wife and I went to see a show at the Lyceum Theatre. In the interval my wife felt unwell so I asked a member of staff if we could sit in alternative seats near the edge of an aisle. The member of staff was really kind and helpful and found us alternative seats as requested. My wife... More

Love this theatre, its got modern facilities, but has still managed to keep its old charm. Saw a good show in comfortable seats, good view (sat in stalls), even managed to get a drink in interval without PRS ordering no problem, around £8 for 2 wines, shame plastic glass, but that did mean you could take it back to your... Me and my partner visited the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield in June 2014 to see the Buddy Holly Story and we very much enjoyed it. When we first walked in there was a big crowd of people around the bar on the ground floor, but because we'd never been before we had no idea if there was another bar upstairs... More
