Having enjoyed a short trip to Sheffield recently, my husband and i were initially attracted to Weston Park Museum as it had a WW1 exhibition. The museum is situated in an attractive park and there is no entry fee. We spent ages at the WW1 exhibition and in the Sheffield Life section, both of which were fascinating, informative and laid... Great museum and fab that it is FREE! my daughter loves to have a look round a learn about the items. Downside is there is no onsite parking and it is in a busy part of town. Also cafe and shop is a bit pricey but i suppose they have to make up for the museum being free. Great free... More

Plenty of space to spread out with a good book and an ice-cream from the van that's always parked outside!

For me Spike the woolly Rhinoceros was the star on an excellent exhibition on evolution and climate change. The WW1 exhibition was also worth seeing as Weston Park was a WW1 hospital. The names of the servicemen who died there are recorded.

Lovely open green space. I think that this is a perfect place to go and sunbathe or just for a nice quiet walk or jog.

Living locally I have grown up coming to this park. It is always well maintained year round with very little litter. In Summer it is great to sit in to read if you can find a quiet spot and avoid the little kiddies charging around! Take some bread for the ducks.

This is a jewel in the city of Sheffield! Immaculately cared for and clearly treasured as an oasis of green space. Attractive water features and readily accessible. This is a special resource.
