One of my favourite places in sheffield. I have always come here for the last 20 years and it just gets better every visit, there taxidermy is great as well as separate exhibits which are education but fun!

This park sits next to the museum & across the A57 from the childrens hospital. It has nice paths, victorian band stands, lots of trees and wide spaces, and as it is up one of Sheffields hills, overlooks the city. My strange headline, well the only word of caution is that the Air Ambulance use it to drop patients off.

This place is fantastic and my 2 young children absolutely love it. It has to be the best free attraction in Yorkshire. Also has a great cafe which does a great coffee - a lot better than the starbucks across the road.

I came here one day to snack on my lunch and get a break from the library and it was just really peaceful and pretty. Parks are great places of escape in cities.

a large meandering park with an attractive band stand and a lake. Kept very clean and tidy. There is a statue for the fallen soldiers and we always go to the Remembrance Day there which is very moving.

Stunning gardens, plenty of areas to sit and watch the world go by. although it's February the sun was shinning and the gardens a pleasure to walk around, The Museum is a must - free, but donations can be made on entry, great place to take the children (young or old ones!) - very educational. Fantastic place to visit all... More
