Good exhibits, friendly with an excellent cafe

Good place to pop in - free of charge, interesting and an excellent cafe. Outside there is a very pleasant garden for a stroll

I would hesitate to call Weston Park a museum but it is a great place to entertain your young children for a couple of hours or so. I went in the school holiday and the atmosphere was pleasantly lively, many young children obviously enjoying the experience with their accompanying adults. Otherwise the only visitors I noticed were a few very... More

Enjoyable day at Western Park Museum and lots to see. Disappointed with the prices in the cafe as families take their children. Take your own lunch as a jacket potato with one filling is 7£. For example.

Expesnive...a couple of panninis, two fancy-dan coffees, and a child's cheese sarnie for nearly £26.00 ....

I visited Weston Park, recently in July 2015 with my family! The museum was a fun visit, alongside the main attraction, (museum) their is a small but cozy and warm café, a perfect place for a quick snack or a break from the museum! The museum itself is interesting and the different areas give different parts of history to you... More

Was very disappointed with this museum, Great for young children for some basic learning and a lot of fun game bits. Many displays were in poor condition and there were many empty spaces. Cafe was super expensive with little on offer!!! Very small and only a handful of exhibits. Info basic and didn't seem to even be correct and much... More

One of the beautiful central parks in Sheffield, close to the city centre and right next to the University of Sheffield buildings. It is not very big, but it is ideal for a walk or a quick lunch in a bench. It offers different venues in summer, pic nic spots and a pond with ducks :-) Plus, the Museum is... More

This is a great museum with very interesting exhibits. It is well laid out and spacious. The cafe is clean and pleasant. The food at the cafe is lovely but a little overpriced. The only real downside to the place is that the toilets are quite dirty, but then again with people constantly going in and out I suppose to... More
