This is a great place to spend a few hours. It's a small zoo with a butterfly house, reptiles, farm animals, guinea pigs and rabbits but also meerkats, otters and lemurs. You can buy different food to feed the animals as well. They do different talks throughout the day and you can hold snakes and bearded dragons in the butterfly... More

This is an expensive day out as it can work out pricy if you're in a big group like mentioned by other reviewers. It's good to see all the exhibits they have on offer and to visit the experts talking about animals. Once you've been once, you've been a hundred times so no need to revisit in my opinion

Four of us. Three generations of same family. Had been told it was good, not expecting it to be this good. Couldn't fault any aspect of the trip, except the weather. It is ideally a nice day venue. Something to interest everyone. Our granddaughter had a lemur experience for her eighth birthday. Magical. Really knowledge guy who supervised the lemurs.... More

For a family, it works out as quite expensive, so make sure you allow plenty of time for your visit. There are lots of things to see and do, and a good cafe. I still like the heated butterfly house itself more than anything else especially in winter when it's cold outside, though there are trails to follow, and plenty... More

Our visit was on a very busy day during half term, three boys aged 15, 12 and 10. All really enjoyed the visit, especially the meerkats. The only issue really was the cleanliness of the toilets, it was a very busy day, so maybe need checking more often.

This was an excellent place for our kids - we often visit Sheffield as we run out of things to do in Leeds as we've done it all, but there's nothing quite like this. Such an amazing day, plenty for the kids to stay entertained and would definitely go again. I want my own butterfly house now! The butterflies were... More

This place is something quite unique ( as far as I am aware ). The tropical climate of the indoor enclosure is amazing. The exotic butterflies fly freely. The outdoor animals & falconry are very good but on a warm day.
