But for some reason wasn't advertised on the website? Visited with 7 year old granddaughter who really enjoyed her day out in the cold. Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday but perhaps people were out Xmas shopping? There loss and our gain. Extended since our last visit a few years ago and vastly improved, it now looks and feels like a... More

Visited the Butterfly house recently and enjoyed the experience. I would class this attraction as aimed at the younger audience. There is lots to do inside and outside for the kids. I visited with 3 people in wheelchairs. The majority of the site is wheelchair friendly, but some of the paths are hard work. I'm sure money permitting this will... More

Lovely little animal park. Well thought out with lots happening, and lots of little things to look at. Talks and encounters spread out through the day to keep the interest and plenty of contact. The cafe is good too and reasonably priced given the captive audience. But what makes it stand out are the staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.... More

Wow! Amazingly fascinating. All ages and walking abilities are completely catered for. Where to start? The butterfly house...follow the path and you are surrounded by butterflies and small exotic birds all around you, almost surreal in their beauty. Spot the sleeping fruit bats, so adorable as they snuggle up together. Hold your nose as you enter the darkness of the... More

WE were given some vouchers for the Butterfly House which covered the 3 grandchildren and decided to visit after hearing from a number of friends and relatives who had visited there. Parked the car without any problems with the availability quite full in the main car park and entered the entrance to be given a map highlighting features around the... More

We went as a family of 5 and it catered for us all ranging from 7-13 year olds. The meerkats are a must see especially at feeding time :-D . Also the bird of prey display is absolutely fabulous.

We took our nine year old niece here in the summer. It was a real hit with lots to do. We had a ride on a cart pulled by a tractor with a few surprises. The regular shows with parrots and birds of prey we extremely well done. We got up close to meerkats and lemurs, used the playground and... More

Have a great day with with your family. The butterfly house is fascinating. Look out for the leaf cutter ants as they march over the bridges and pathways created for them. Don't miss the Meetcats feeding time and the birds of prey display.
