Great place to relax. I was only in Sheffield for a few hours so only whizzed around a few things but we stopped here the longest. This little area with fountains are benches is very attractive. Its peaceful and the water features are well designed. It was a little cold to sit out in January but it would be delightful in the warmer weather.

A must call when we are in Sheffield, a lovingly restored building with lovely plants and seating area with lots to look at regarding the history of this great city.

Great place to chill out, eat lunch and let the kids let of steam (whatever size they may be!) particularly when the weather is good as there's lots of water.

A great spot in the city centre right next to the historic Town Hall building. Fountains and waterfalls add to the ambience. An ideal spot to sit and enjoy watching the kids splash in the water on a warm day. Winter markets and other holiday time entertainments on offer throughout the year. Close to shops and cafes.

The Peace Gardens are a wonderful place to just sit and ponder. The fountains are a joy to watch, well most of the time, and it is just a lovely place to have lunch on sunny days. The only down side is the hoards of children who are allowed to run around screaming, playing in the fountains on hot days,... More
