Nice little part of Sheffield where old meets new. Situated between the old, traditional buildings and newer stone area that houses restaurants and the Botanical Gardens, this is a great place to sit and relax, especially if the sun is out. We were here at the same time as the Great Yorkshire Run so the place was buzzing - bands,... More

Its beautiful here and so relaxing to come to eat or just to chat for friends. The decor here is great and the fountain really adds to it! Right in the centre of town so great to come after/before you do some shopping etc!!

This is a lovely area, great for an alfresco coffee or lunch, perfect for kids in the summer with the water fountains, or just to sit and watch the world go by. Lots of cafés and restaurants around here too.

Being a local in Sheffield, I must say this is one of our favourite places in the Sheffield City Centre. Kids have a blast splashing about in the fountain in the summer. Always great for events, fairs, concerts, or on a nice sunny day to have a picnic and enjoy the views of the lovely town hall

As I keep banging on about, Sheffield is not nowadays some grimy broken down hell hole, it's a lovely buzzy city. This part 'The Heart of th City' has had millions spent on it and the whole area is lovely to look at and a great place to meet friends, have your lunchtime sarnie, or sit on your tod and... More

Being a sheffielder all my life, I've come to think of the peace gardens as the absolute center of the city. It's a well maintained area with water features and a fountain, that is great to sit down, have a rest and maybe a bite to eat from nearby shops. It does get busy in the summer and kids do... More

What a wonderful garden. So well constructed & so peaceful as the name implies. To wander through the garden or to just sit & rest. It is an area for everyone.
