Another location in Sheffield I have visited often with family. It's wonderful on a warm summers with children. Plenty of grassy areas, plus the fabulous water fountains and streams, plants and flowers. So much bettersince it was re-developed when it used to be when it was only filled with drunks and tramps!

Small and overwhelmed with kids and a tiny carnival on a recent Saturday. Carts, games, and kids pretty much obscured being able to see anything. Not sure if they do events here every weekend, but unless you have a special interest in whatever is there, avoid it if they do, because it's too small to afford any peace if there... More

Too small to be a real landmark - a few fountains and trickling water but no atmosphere at all - really needs redesigning as its the heart of the city

Every time I visit Sheffield, there seems to be something happening in the Peace Gardens. It is a real hub for events in the city centre. Well-located with beautiful surroundings. Especially nice in the evening when it is lit up.

To say this area is in the heart of the city it is very relaxing. The water features make it what it is. Used by a cross section of people, its a great place to watch the world pass by. A welcome break from shopping or work with a good selection of shops and restaurants close by.

Just brilliant place to take a rest while doing some shoppings in the centre. The area is very green and clean. I love the fountain and I like to watch kids playing in it. :) Now the government made it look like Sheffield beach and I support this idea, because in hot days if there is no any opportunity to... From past experiences and current ones a new, I can say this is a lovely area in sheffield to visit, the water fountains make a nice attraction and offer a variation to the scenery and the overall atmosphere of the gardens, Is a nice place for a picnic or just some time alone or to enjoy the view.
