We spent a delightful morning wandering around the Gardens. I'd not been here for years and I must say it was much bigger with much more to see than I had remembered. A lot of work has gone into renovating the Pavilions and the Gardens; it has been truly transformed. I thoroughly enjoyed all the different areas and would recommend... More

This garden is a haven for peace and tranquility. Whoever does the work deserves a oat on the back . It is a lovely place to visit with your flask and sandwiches .

Wonderful place to while away a couple of hours. Very nice cafe too. Really well kept. Bit confusing for disabled parking though.

I knew I would have two to three hours to kill waiting for my car to be serviced, so I checked Google maps for something near the dealers. The Botanical Gardens were only about a 15 minute walk and had the added benefit of being able to take my dog. What a good choice! We had the fortune of a... More

Wow! Whatever season you go here it is fantastic. Feed squirrels, explore the lovingly restored pavilion, dine at the cafe that has cafe prices for restaurant standard food. A park of the people. You just find yourself returning to this place time and time again. And the best bit? It's absolutely FREE!!!
