Wonderful place to while away a couple of hours. Very nice cafe too. Really well kept. Bit confusing for disabled parking though.

I knew I would have two to three hours to kill waiting for my car to be serviced, so I checked Google maps for something near the dealers. The Botanical Gardens were only about a 15 minute walk and had the added benefit of being able to take my dog. What a good choice! We had the fortune of a... More

A lovely way to spend an afternoon.very surprised and delighted no entrance fee.as previous reviews could do to have a little more upkeep in places but still well done to Sheffield.coffee and scone in the cafe which was lovely.will certainly be telling my friends about it.

Wow! Whatever season you go here it is fantastic. Feed squirrels, explore the lovingly restored pavilion, dine at the cafe that has cafe prices for restaurant standard food. A park of the people. You just find yourself returning to this place time and time again. And the best bit? It's absolutely FREE!!!

Strolling around in the grounds looking at the flora and fauna is only part of the visit, I can recommend taking a picnic. If you want to make a... More

My favourite botanical gardens are Adelaide, South Australia where I would spend many a Sunday sitting and enjoying the environment. So I compare all other gardens against that benchmark. As Sheffield has half the population of Adelaide we have to give Sheffield some allowance for a lower budget. Sheffield - there is lots of room for improvement. Mulching !! The... More

Myself and my partner visited here on a weekend in Sheffield, and it was really beautiful, especially in the July sunshine. It's a nice peaceful park, with landscaped gardens which offer a nice walk around, as well as the indoor garden with botanical plants and a few more plant that are a bit more exotic. The little cafe has a... More
