This is amazing place that offers family fun with gentle Victorian charm. In Spring/Summer it exudes quintessential Victorian splendour for families in the park, in Autumn/Winter it offers the woodland fanfare for all. It is a gem to visit at any time of the year offering interest for the visitor and local, be they for example, photographer, gardener and family... More

Fantastic beautiful place, so relaxing and gorgeous to walk around however the council saw fit to hold some stalls every so often and charge a ridiculous entry fee which needs to stop.

I have not been to the botanical gardens for about 25 years last time i was there as a child they had the aquariums and the parrots in the glass domed buildings... It was lovely to see dog walkers enjoying the place and the buildings were simply superb.. Several young families enjoying family time sledging down the gentle slopes

A nice place to sit and have a picnic or a quiet space to chill out. I have not been yet in winter but I endeavour to go.
