I have been loads of times with my little boys. I love it, beautiful and great fun to play in. Good cafe and lovely to have a Picnic in if sunny.

Happy memories of feeding the squirrels in the snow many years ago, so very disappointed to make special visit today and no obvious parking available, although disabled and service were signed. Roadworks taking place further down Clarkehouse Road so all parking banned outside Botanical Gardens. Good planning - school holidays and just when parents might like to take their children... More

Nice place for a stroll with a friend or the partner rain or shine. Worth a visit maybe on a lazy Sunday.

The resident cat seemed sociable and well cared for. The Bear Pit is a great bonus and a great photo opportunity. The gorgeous weather showed the gardens off... More

Always nice for a wander and to let the kids run around, makes a change from the kids playgrounds and great for playing hide and seek with older kids.

I never tire of coming here. The plants and trees, the squirrels, it's great. There is a lovely little cafe that gets quite busy. It's a great place to take the kids for a picnic but don't forget your camera. Parking can be a bother sometimes but it's well worth going, there is also the huge glass house full of... More

The botanical gardens in Sheffield are a wonderful place to visit although parking can be a bit of a problem. You can visit at any time of year and see the gardens with different colours and views in different seasons. If you are an artist it is the perfect setting to set up an easel and enjoy your hobby.
