Parking costs only £3.50 for the day and in summer the park closes late. Dogs are allowed. There are many activities - apart from the opportunity to enjoy picnics and walks. Cycle hire available. Light meals and refreshments are available if you forgot to bring your own. There are four lakes and fab water sports: The park is home to... More

Easy parking and great wide open space. We had a picnic, there are many picnic areas / tables around. the dog went swimming. Boats bikes and quads can be hired. you can easy spend all day here and at 3.50 parking its a cheap day out for all the family. all you need is the sun and food.

I visited Rother Valley Country Park and thought it was a great place. It was a Sunday and the place was buzzing with people walking, sailing, jet skiing and generally enjoying themselves. We walked all round the lake and enjoyed the scenery. We had coffees from the cafe and sat outside to drink them. The service in the cafe was... More

The park was a nice, big open space with 2 big lakes and a footpath going all of the way around them. Some of the park is a nature reserve and there are facilities including a playground and a café.There is also access onto the Trans Pennine Trail which is ideal for cycling. However, there does not seem to be... More

First visit today, I was looking for somewhere different but local to visit. Took us about 45 minutes to travel there, easy journey. It was cold and windy today, but lots of opportunity for walking, biking, horse riding going on, some water sports but limited due to the weather. Very impressed by the space, will definitely return with my Grandchildren... More

The car park is full ofhuge, deep potholes, the paths around the lake are subsiding into the lake and need repair. The surfaces in the play area need renewing, the grass was a bog and the wood bark missing from around the play equipment, where it is needed to provide a soft surface. The cafe is OK but pretty basic.... More

Lovely little place, could do with a clean due to a lot of bird mess but it is expected. Great play areas for children and you can hire and book things to do such as biking and water sports. Lovely for summers days

Nice place to take the dog for a walk, or a stroll with the children. Its nothing special, however it does get busy during the summer.
