We visited this park today with 5 young boys. The outdoor area was really nice and we had a pleasant walk around the lake. However I would strongly advise that you take a packed lunch. The cafeteria was filthy and the staff were extremely unwelcoming and grumpy. The outdoor seating area was plagued with hundreds of wasps not helped by... More

Rother Valley is an ideal place to take all your family even your four legged friend. It has a good play area and a little farm where you can get close up to the animals. They also do some charity events in the summer time it's also Ideal if you have a boat to put it in the lake but... More

Went here for stroll with my partner the other day. When we got there we found there was very little signage and had absolutely no idea where the carpark was and just ended up following other cars in. When we eventually found the carpark, there was only about 30 spaces (if that) and were very lucky to find one. After... More

From a distance this place looks amazing, so much to see and do. unfortunately up close it is dirty and smelly. irresponsible dog owners means its not great to run round and not great to take kids. such a shame, as it looks beautiful. They had some sort of camping event on when we went sunday morning, so lots of... More

We visited here after seeing the sign many times on the motor way. Was a great find. We had our 2 year old and 2 dogs and it suited us all. Great few hours walking around the lakes, seeing the animals, playing in the park, watching the wake boarders, running around on the grass, watching the dogs swimming and generally... More

Came here on mtb to check out the trail centre routes, good trails I found it quite fun, it had rained before I got there and wouldn't recommend going after rain or if the ground is damp as it's a clay sub soil and claggs up! However once it dried up a little it's great, quick short routes but I... More

Had a lovely walk round with other half.. Went on peddle boats too.. That was amusing! The cafe is a tad overpriced so I would recommend a picnic if your going there for a while.. Didn't get a chance to look in the little craft shop :( amenities were basic but clean

The park itself is a lovely place to enjoy, nice views over the water, nice spots to have a picknick. We went kneeboarding and kayaking/paddle-boarding /sit -on- canoeing and had a super time. Great place to take the kids, do mind the duck poo😉

A great place for a day out. Walking and cycling around 2 (or maybe all 4) lakes are popular activities although there is a parking charge if you drive into the park. A good venue for water sports, including water ski-ing (fixed wire), wind-surfing and canoeing on the main lake. The lake beside the main one is used to jet... More
