My wife and I go to the Herb Farm quite often - usually when we are returning from somewhere else. Good place for young families and "oldies" alike. Garden centre is always worth a "browse".

Love this little quaint shop, garden centre and tea room/cafe. A great place to nip down and have a cuppa tea and a very generous slice of Victoria sponge (or other lovely delights). Great for families, couples and all ages. Small but offers a lovely selection of goodies (preserves, packaged goods, teas, flour and toiletries) and if you are looking... More

The Herb Garden basically sells Herb Plants, has a small Shop with products such as Soap and Perfume, a small but attractive Herb Garden, a Restaurant and a complicated Beech Maze. The food and drink is on the expensive side but as their beautiful surroundings are free, it is a very pleasant way to eat or have a drink especially... More

Amazing how this Herb Farm has improved over the years I have been visiting. Unfortunately, I now live many miles away but always visit when I return to Berkshire. The quality of the plant stock is amazing with many unusual varieties available. If unsure of what you want, there are many helpful friendly staff there to advise. First time ever,... More

It was my first visit here and I was very impressed, the plants all looked very healthy and tempting. The gift shop was good and the cafe was in a very nice setting but I did think the food was very expensive and it was only very basic.

We went on a terribly rainy day so I would assume it would be much nicer in the sun. The inside store was nice but overpriced and the cafe was also nice but again expensive for what we got. Cute place for a coffee though. Will have to try it again in the sun...

As a local it's great to have this on our doorstep. Today we got crowded out from the town centre and Caversham and decided to come back to the common and give it a try for breakfast. Wow and what a good decision this turned out to be, fantastic smiling people, good food, yes I'm afraid I went for the... More

I love the Herb Farm and have visited for many years. I recently tried the cafe wish I hadn't very average can make better food at home and I am a poor cook. Will never return.

Thank you for your feedback. Daisy's Coffee Shop is a separately run business with their own management, but I will highlight this issue with them. They can be contacted directly via their dedicated Facebook page, as sadly they are not on trip advisor. More

Always a pleasure to visit. Besides herbs there is a wonderful gift shop and amazing selection of greeting cards and we never come away empty handed as great for birthday or Christmas presents. The maze is amazing pardon the pun and as to Daisy's cafe we have yet to visit but promise too on our next trip as always busy... More

Good selection of plants, helpful staff and in a lovely setting and a nice shop. Had lunch at the coffee shop and that was very nice also. Definitely worth a visit and I certainly would return.
