Lovely Hotel have stayed here a few times. We paid extra for a family corner room, but the bathroom was quite open and located behind one of the beds, all a little non-private. Other than that clean, staff helpful, bar area quiet but nice, breakfast worth the money

Having been a Reading fan for years I do love our fantastic stadium and have been lucky enough to enjoy the hotel facilities too. The stadium has excellent turf apart from when the rugby players hack it up!

The mad stad is always excellent and maintains a very high standard at all times... Everywhere you look it is always immaculate and the staff and everybody there are great as so are the facilities. The actual pitch is good and the stadium has good views. Only slight tiddly issue would be the parking, as there is limited spaces available... More

I attended the London Irish vs Edinburgh Euro QF game, it was a very disappointing attendance and the Edinburgh fans added the atmosphere although the Craic bar was excellent with an irish band.

I am a regular at Madejski for the rugby. The stadium is great but the catering really isn't. The choices are old-school hotdogs, pies etc. which is a little disappointing when other stadiums have such a broader choice of fare. The staff are so slow, it is a wonder some weeks! This is the home of London Irish, so a... More

Went here for a Rugby game - stadium about three quarters full. Getting in takes time (unsurprisingly), but once in, getting to seats is easy enough. Standard tip seats, but really good leg room makes it easier for people in the middle of the row to get in and out (and the ones next to us seemed to need to... More

The stadium is nice - there is no contesting that. When it came to half-time and we wanted a snack and drink however, we were left disappointed. The food stands would not accept card so we went on a hunt for a cash point. It turns out there are none in the whole vicinity. We ran over to the hotel,... More

Clean, modern and loads of leg room. Most stadium seats are worse than aircraft seats but not at the Madejski. Typically we stood all through the game though! One of the few stadiums where I'd have preferred to sit in comfort! Lovely stadium. Shame some of the Reading fans went on to pitch invade and goad the Bradford fans after... More

My tip is if the weather is looking dubious dont select a front row seat! I was thrilled to have a front row seat at the Rugby however on the day the heavens opened and we discovered the first 10 rows dont get any protection! Fortunately the hot drinks and excellent food topped with great rugby made up for the... More
