Fabulous evening - lots of fun!

We were a mixed party from a 2 and a half year old, an 11 year old, two 16 year old boys and three forty somethings! Difficult to please such a large age range, but this tour managed it. We are reasonably local and were taking some friends who were visiting, but we got to see parts of Oxford that... More

We never hesitate in recommending Bill's tour whenever friends are in town and are looking for something a little different. This tour is informative and entertaining, and a great way of spending a couple of hours. The gags will keep you and the kids amused, and the creepy stories of Oxford's past really come alive as you travel the alleyways... More

My first tour of Oxford, and considering I've lived here most of my life, we went to places I've never seen! Lighthearted, entertaining and informative for all, thoroughly recommend.

Great fun, a good way of seeing some of the back streets of Oxford and learning about some of the more eerie tales of Oxford.

This tour was fabulous! Very entertaining, great fun and excellent value. Bill is a great guide and a really nice guy. He really helped me out as our dates in Oxford didn't match his normal tour days so he arranged for us to join another private tour he had running. My wife was smiling from start to finish so thanks... More

Entertaining, informative, humorous, interactive, -- just plain fun. Bill knows how to bring morbid history to laughing life with his amusing anecdotes and winking asides. Join Bill and the other ghost hunters to get the insiders' dope on Oxford's bloody underside.

Definitely put this on your Oxford 'to do' list. One of the best ghost walks my wife and I have done (and we've done a few)! The route takes you on a lovely tour of the ghost hotspots and is a very entertaining 1hr 45mins. Bill was entertaining and kept everyone, including the fee children mesmerised with his ghostly stories... More

Bill was a very entertaining character, he did lots of little magic tricks. The tour I'd rate at a movie rating of G or PG so definitely very mild and I'd say very kid friendly as a ghost tour. The ghost stories were very mild, only one was unique enough to be memorable (the rest were mostly "someone saw a... More

Many thanks for your lovely review. The trail does tend to change with the audience, when there are lots of children keen to volunteer, it shifts in that direction. When I researched for ghostly tales around the best route in Oxford, the stories I found were as I tell them, ghosts don’t always perform how one would like and in... More

We had a weekend away in Oxford with friends and I'd looked at the Ghost Trails before and thought it would be a laugh. It was that and so much more, Bill is brilliant, entertaining and funny and the little tricks and special effects are great. It's fantastic value for money and I defy anyone to say they did it...
