After several days in London seeing the normal attractions, we took a day to go to the English countryside. I had found Cotswold Roaming on Trip Advisor, and I can't recommend it enough. My wife and I joined 9 other people from all over the world for an intimate and informed tour. The bus was very comfortable and made numerous,... More

Hi James It is always a pleasure to share our beautiful countryside with such appreciative clients. I am about to retire and Cotswold Roaming will cease to operate on 19th January 2014. To receive your review at the end of 17 years of providing tours is very gratifying. Regards Philip More

We did the north Cotswold tour and it was led by Conrad. He did an excellent job. We went through several towns and made several stops along the way. Yes, there are bathroom breaks and yes there is enough time at a couple of the stops to shop and try the local cuisine. He knows the history of the area... More

Three trips with Phillip over the years, and it still is not enough. Cotswold Roaming's little red bus already exhibits a Travel Advisor badge. I do wish he was not retiring in December as we would come back for his Castle Combe and Stratford trip. This time we did the full day tour of the Cotwolds. He filters out all... More

Philip was just as awesome as the Cotswalds. Quirky humour, lots of information, great sights planned and he manages the tour so well, you almost hate it when it ends. He has been a teacher and has been around the world himself. He builds into the tour lots of expectations and then, promptly goes ahead delivers them. Small groups, lots... More

We had a really great tour of these three sites with Philip our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the region and its history and had a great sense of humour. As he has been doing it for many ears he also knows all the great photo spots and highlights. The vehicle was clean and comfortable and he was... More

The place was a serene typical English countryside and had beautiful old world houses with a particular type of brick and roofing. The walks through the parks were great.

We really had a fun during the tour. We would never had seen so many villages and sights if we had done this ourselves. Philip was a great guide with a great sense of humor. The ride was comfortable and we had plenty of time to stop and enjoy the sights. Philip was very knowledgeable about the history of the... More

Had a great day touring the countryside seeing Salisbury cathedral (amazing), Stonehenge and the stones and village of Avebury. Phillip our guide knew his stuff and blended facts with humour which made the day fun. Highly recommend a trip out to the Avebury Stones and SalisburyCatherdral.
