We visited Oxford for my sisters Hen Party in July. As she is very keen on literature and history, we wanted to do something where she could get a full experience of the city, and this was perfect. Alasdair was a great host. His knowledge of the city was fantastic! He arrived in his Mad hatter gear to fit in... More

Did the free walking tour ,but the leader did expect a sizeable tip . He deserved it however ,as he was knowledgeable, easy to understand and had a good sense of humour. There was a group charge of £1 each to go into the famous library ,which has the most amazing ceilings , but the new , modern library which... More

Our guide was very enthusiastic and knew around the tourist spots very well. He customised his tour according to our interests. Showed us some interesting historic places and some good Harry Potter shooting spots. Overall very nice tour. Also received ILoveOxford benefits card for discounts in cafes.

Had an enjoyable waliking tour around Oxford - our guide was fun, humorous and informative. Great little day trip from London and worth the visit for the university alone! So grand, gorgeous and magnificent.

We had an amazing tour of Oxford with Oxford Walking Tours. Our guide, Jeff, was extremely knowledgable of the history of the city and the university, and kept us interested and laughing all the way through. He was also good at keeping the kids engaged. We would recommend it highly.

Well after emailing Alistair (our original planned tour guide) and being assured that Peter (our eventual tour guide) was in fact a very interesting man I need to write and share my review. The tour advertises a trip through time, with a knowledgeable guide who will show you the sights and sounds of Oxford, including a walk around one of... More

After gettting the Park and Ride into the the centre for our first visit to Oxford, we were quie overwhelmed as where to go and what to see. We contemplated taking a bus tour but instead we found this walking tour outside the visitor centre. The tour cost £8 for about 75 minutes and took us around and into places... More

I work for one of the largest language schools in Oxford and we often hire the services of the I Love Oxford Tours. The main guide is also an English tutor so he will make sure students understand him, regardless of their level of English. He is also very friendly and flexible with our requests. I would recommend him for... More
