Wondering around Oxford a little lost we came across the very friedly Mad Hatter, who was very welcoming and informative. It was great taking the walk around Oxford learning a great deal from Alasdair (The Mad Hatter) and discovering lovely side streets and learning interesting little facts along the way. Alasdair was full of information, not just about Oxfords history... More

Looked promising, but was rather disappointing and over priced. Might be just right for you but suggest you check out other tours at the Tourist Information to make sure you get the right one for your particular interests, and pick a day with good weather if you can. We were sooooo cold!

My friend & I took a penny tour with Alasdair & he was brilliant. It was only my friend & I on the tour, so we had a very intimate tour & I found it interesting & entertaining. Well worth the penny!!!!

We were very fortunate to find Alasdair at 1pm on Thursday 8th November as we were hoping to see more of Oxford. We had been previously and had done the open top bus tour but suffered from information overload by the end. In contrast we found Alasdair's walking tour, at a brisk pace, covered back streets and alleyways with an... More

Hi all! I visited Oxford last August and the first day I arrived I was lucky to do this Walking Tour because it gave me a general view of the City and some very useful tips. The guide was called Alasdair, he was very funny and knows loads of things about Oxford. I went with my 7 year old daughter... More

I took a group of 30 foreign students on a day trip to Oxford and we split into two groups - my group had a lovely guide called Peter Kowalczewski who took us on a fantastic tour of the city. Having been an ex tutor at Oxford, he obviously had a lot of knowledge about the city and its colleges.... More

We had a short time in Oxford and we run into this chap called Dib who offered us this amazing small but very fun tour with a guide called Vinnie Cochrane who had the advantage of being a former student at Oxford University. He was excellent and entertaining, helped by meeting his College don and tales of his mis-spent youth.... More

I went to Oxford on a coach trip from Dudleywith my mon, so we didn't have much time there. As luck would have it, Alasdair, or Mr Darcy I presume, was taking a tour just as we arrived. Very informative and inspiring, a very knoweldgeable man. I will definately be returning, hopefully he would do a "Moorse/Lewis" tour if we... More

We had only a short time in Oxford and our guide Vinnie Cochrane had the advantage of being a former student and now an actor. He was excellent and entertaining, helped by meeting his College don and tales of his mis-spent youth. The tour lasted over an hour and gave a good guide to the history and lay out of... More

We didn't have a lot of time in Oxford, but we were pleased with this tour as a good basic introduction to what the city has to offer. We arrived rather late in the day, when most of the colleges were about to close for the night; therefore didn't see quite as much as we might otherwise have done, but... More
