Our guide was very enthusiastic and knew around the tourist spots very well. He customised his tour according to our interests. Showed us some interesting historic places and some good Harry Potter shooting spots. Overall very nice tour. Also received ILoveOxford benefits card for discounts in cafes.

Peter introduced three most historical pubs and several brands of beers to us. A lot of interesting stories about Oxford were told also. Peter was so nice, he even accompanied us for an hour more in the pub. The tour was really an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!

Had an enjoyable waliking tour around Oxford - our guide was fun, humorous and informative. Great little day trip from London and worth the visit for the university alone! So grand, gorgeous and magnificent.

We had an amazing tour of Oxford with Oxford Walking Tours. Our guide, Jeff, was extremely knowledgable of the history of the city and the university, and kept us interested and laughing all the way through. He was also good at keeping the kids engaged. We would recommend it highly.

Well after emailing Alistair (our original planned tour guide) and being assured that Peter (our eventual tour guide) was in fact a very interesting man I need to write and share my review. The tour advertises a trip through time, with a knowledgeable guide who will show you the sights and sounds of Oxford, including a walk around one of... More

After gettting the Park and Ride into the the centre for our first visit to Oxford, we were quie overwhelmed as where to go and what to see. We contemplated taking a bus tour but instead we found this walking tour outside the visitor centre. The tour cost £8 for about 75 minutes and took us around and into places... More

I work for one of the largest language schools in Oxford and we often hire the services of the I Love Oxford Tours. The main guide is also an English tutor so he will make sure students understand him, regardless of their level of English. He is also very friendly and flexible with our requests. I would recommend him for... More

Peter was our guide for the day. As there was noone else in the tour, we had him all to ourselves. ;) He was spilling with knowledge and information throughout the tour, showing us into bars and colleges, and took us into alleys that we wouldn't have found on our own. Also plenty of tips on where to visit for... More

This is a tour you MUST take upon arrival. The hour-long tour (actually, closer to 70-75 minutes) was the perfect way to get oriented to our surroundings, find out some very interesting facts, get the insight into places we wanted to visit later, and see things we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. The guide (Alistair) is amusing as well as informative.... More
