This park is by far my favourite place in Oxford. a gentle walk up the hill takes you to a beautiful, peaceful view of Oxford. A great place to escape to.

It's massive huge and there are basketball court, exercise tools, cool trees and clean grass. Since I went there with my friends for the 1st time during sunny evening, we enjoyed the wind blowing plus taking a lot of pictures there. Must go for a picnic with good friends.

This is one of the best kept parks i've ever seen: the grass is kept short and it is also very clean. It's a nice place to spend an afternoon with friends doing outsides activities. Or just bringing something to est or drink and have it on the grass, just remember to clean up afterwards: everybody has to help keeping... More

We went to the food festival on Sunday - in South Parks Having paid £12 plus a booking fee - what a load of rubbish! Lots of over priced catering stalls -burger - chips - can't floss etc Plus drink stalls With 3 shows - talks which we had to que 40 mins to book! Over priced and would NOT... More

A bit away from the centre of Oxford but don't miss coming here. Stepping into South Park you will feel transported into another world altogether. You can come, put your feet up on the grass and soak in the beauty of the place. It's another place which I feel should be rated higher on Trip Advisor

A peaceful medium size park on the outskirts of the city, but within walking distance of the city centre, consisting mainly of trees and grassland. Its main feature is the stunning stunning hilltop view of Oxfords skyline with its towers and spires. Adjacent to South park is Headington Hill Park, which also makes for a pleasant stroll.

If you visit the park and walk up the small hill to the top you have some excellent views of Oxford and get some great pictures. Good play area for the children so great family park, offers more for the children than the university gardens.

Good open space for a frisbee and a kick-about. Very occasionally has bands playing there, but they really need to do this more often to make the most of it.

If you visit South Park take a walk to the top of the hill. It offers a wonderful view of the city and the surrounding countryside! If it is a sunny day South Park is a wonderful place for a picnic, it will fill up with students during term but the park is large and offers plenty of room.

This is a lovely open space in a bustling city. No cafe, no stores etc, just a natural open space! Unless you in during one of the brilliant events! It has the best fireworks display I've seen. It has fairs and food festivals. Its also brilliant for sledging, but get there early because of the crowds. A really lovely place... More
