Don't miss a walk around the gardens. Beautifully kept. If you can, also take a tour of the Headmaster's garden. I was fortunate enough to attend a week-long summer school course here & live in Christ Church housing. Best west week ever. The history & architecture- unparalleled.

What a walk around the meadow. Take the foot path down to the river Thames and around the meadow. It is worth the walk. The view of Oxford from the river is fantastic. On a nice day you can still see rowing competitions, some of the college barges and row boats meandering down the river. You don't have to be... More

Go for a morning walk in the meadow. Its peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. I was there on a Sunday morning and ringing church bells made my visit even better.

The vast array of FLOWERS WAS the best part. I really enjoyed seeing college with pretty green pasture. I would recommend walking throughout the garden.

One of the most striking points to Oxford is that one can walk from the middle of a vibrant city into a rural are within a few minutes, and nowhere is this clearer than Christchurch Gardens and meadows Whilst some may wish to visit the gardens where Lewis Carol created 'Alice in Wonderland', others may also like to view the... If you travel to Oxford do not miss out on this experience. The beauty of the buildings themselves, the tree lined avenue and the gardens. Couple that with watching punting down the river and you will have an experience you will never forget. Quintessentially English

A walk along the riverside, sitting watching the rowers go by and feeling a tranquil peace amongst the wildlife, this is a truly wonderful part of Oxford I'd recommend to any visitor. As you follow the river around there is a wonderful view of the Oxford spires and the fun of watching people attempt to punt their way along the... More

The garden is really beautiful, but the church itself I didn't visit. I intended to see Harry Potter's Great Hall but it's closed for maintenance since last year. :(
