we wandered slowly around this meadow, the fragrant flowers were so wonderful to see and smell, we could smell them long before we came upon them. a gentle stroll around this meadow was just what we needed as we visited the city. well maintained and wonderful

Lovely walk across the meadow to the river. Seating along the way. Weather was quite cold even though it was May so we could not take full advantage but on a sunny day it would be great

Christ Church's meadows are one of the biggest in Oxford stretching all the way to the river. And in a sunny day they're a great place to walk around.

It's where Harry Potter was being filmed. It's almost a perfect place. We enjoyed walking through. We started without a guide and ended with one... ;-) It's such a large place, and a must to visit.

It is simple a plain of grass that reaches the river and begins at Christ Church. You could walk there if you have the time.

Probably the most picturesque part of the city. During our walk around the whole of Oxford this was the place that made us feel the most like we had arrived in the traditional 'Oxford'. This can be a little busy at times but is a must if visiting this city.

Spacious park area in the city centre with rivers and the impressive Christ Church as a backdrop. It was an overcast and windy day so i imagine in summer its even better.

There are many patches of green open space in Oxford, which makes it such a lovely city to spend time in. The Christ Church Meadows are beautiful, even on a freezing Spring day. We never saw it in sunshine, but I bet its even more lovely then. You can walk part way along the river Thames (use other side if... More

Had a wonderful walk on a Sunday morning. Beautiful river banks with Ducks and swans and Daffodils flowering at last. Superb views of Christ Church College. Punts and runners, obviously a popular venue for a bit of exercise.
