On a cold sunny afternoon we went walking around Oxford with Tom. He was witty & amusing but also extremely well informed about the history of the city and the university. I couldn't have wished for a better guide to give insight into what makes the whole place tick.

We went on the walking tour with Jamie this weekend and had a most enjoyable 2 hours historical and up to date tour of Oxford. Jamie made it interesting, entertaining, informative and fun. His knowledge and enthusiasm was great to see on a cold but sunny Sunday morning. Set us up nicely to go and explore by ourselves.

Although it was bitterly cold, the footprints tour is a must do. Our guide was very informative and answered any questions. It didn't feel like a formal tour which tends to be boring. This tour was fun and informative!

We went on the College tour which was £10 per person. Our guide was very informed about the history of Oxford and we came away feeling educated. There is also a free tour which we had intended going on however it was bitterly cold on the day we went and we were pleased to have at least some respite from... More

Had great fun on a free walking tour with Jamie - I've done free walking tours around Europe and the world and he was by far one of the most engaging tour guides. Great and interesting information, mixed with fun and entertaining anecdotal stories. Perfect combination to keep everyone interested whilst showing us the most beautiful areas of central Oxford!... This is a great way to get an insight into the development of Oxford's collegiate system and to see the principal attractions of the University. Our guide was an ex-student, Tom who is now an aspiring writer. He had a great sense of humour and made what could have been a dry history lesson very entertaining with stories you won't... More

I had an excellent time seeing and learning all about Oxford. Tom was an excellent guide, very charismatic and engaging. I was supposed to go on another tour at that time but he just draws you in. I love how the guides are students at Oxford. I learned a lot while having a good laugh along the way. Have already... More

We booked in with another company but passed Tom on the way and his charismatic banter lured us in! He was very informative, had a fabulous sense of humour and made a wet, cold and windy tour worth it. I loved his casual appearance and his wild hair. Would recommend him highly. Thanks Tom.

We have enjoyed free tours in other UK cities and this one did not disappoint. Our guide Tom was entertaining, informative and fun. We enjoyed walking through the streets of Oxford, stopping at all the major sights. Other reviews appear to complain at the tour being centered around the university and various colleges, but fail to realise this is what... More
