Percy Shelley

Lovely, supposedly the oldest college although there are lots of claims to that! Big famous monument to Percy Shelley off one of the quads.

I live in Canada but like to take my Canadian grandchildren to see where I was born and grew up, and of course the sights of Oxford. There's a multi story parking lot south west of Carfax,(the main crossroads in the centre of town) where I think you pay afterwards, but I got by misfortune into some underground parking north... My friends tell me stories about who and what are associated with this college. Set on the High, it's one of the colleges that add up to a beautiful street scene.

This college is located on the High Street opposite the Queens College. There is no admission charge but ask the porters to see if it is possible for you to take a look at the white marble Shelley memorial. Also ask if you can see the Wisteria in the Radcliffe Quad.
