There are some very funny ideas on here about Christ Church. First, it's not an 'attraction'. This is a living, working institution. People live and study here. That's why bits of it close at inconvenient times. If the Hall is closed, it's probably because people are eating in it. You can't visit the Library without an appointment? Well, no -... More

A beautiful place. Starting from the meadow, all it is perfectly maintained. You can walk through the stairs and hall where Harry Potter Movie was filmed. Having said that, this place has much more to offer. An amazing gothic arquitecture, beautiful halls, stained glass windows, etc. If you plan to go to Oxford, this is a place you definitely must visit.

Inquire about finding a student to take you on a personal tour. It's worth it. They know about all the weird stuff and about what's going on not just the history
