Sadly we couldn't see the hall due to renovations, but the cathedral is so special and if you can take a free short tour, then do so as you learn many things from the lovely guides. This has got to be the best of all the colleges to visit.

Christ Church is simply lovely college. With its amazing cathedral it is my favourite college. Unfortunately I was not able to see the famous Great hall as they were in process of repairing. Never mind, at least I have a reason to come back!

The Choir may have been on holiday but the Cathedral Singers were lovely to listen to. Christchurch Cathedral is a beautiful building and it is a privilege to be able to attend a service there.

I went to see the Cathedral with my family during Christmas holiday. Yes, the Cathedral is nice (the Hall & Gallery were closed) but everything is overpriced, from the tickets' price to the items sold in the charity shop, which we found at a cheaper price in a Church just opposite to the Cathedral. Overall disappointing.

Harry Potter, Alice in Wonderland, Morse, Brideshead Revisited, John locke, Robert Peel, Gladstone, John Wesley, Charles 1 and Henry V111's Lord Chancellor 1525 Thomas Wolsey poured money into this college, with its Historic Cathedral and famous Choir. The Picture gallery boasts works by Veronese and Tintoretto!

The hall is simply closed. It was even not allowed to step on the fameus staircase, although we payed 11 Euro. When we tried to make a picture on the first step, a female guard to lecture 10 minutes about how 'dangerous ' it was. Library is forbidden, lots of parts are forbidden. My advice: go elsewhere.

The entrance fee does not justify the experience. Yes, it has the famous "hogwarts" hall (closed for renovations - but no fee reduction) and a typically nice gothic church. I don't think it was worth the 5 plus pound fee.

Beautiful College, limited access. Tourist parties do make it busy. Access is not free. Cathedral beautiful.

Christ Church is a beautiful college however it is very crowded because of tourists coming to view the hall that inspired the one in the Harry Potter films. It seems to be the can't miss college of Oxford. Beyond Harry Potter, the college itself also has a long history which is much more interesting.

Lovely inside with beautiful stained glass and architecture, great choir for Sunday and evensong. There is a little art gallery, worth seeing, and scenic quad with fountain in front.
