We love to go to Evensong at Christchurch cathedral. This trip, we went to St. Paul's and Westminster Abbey evensongs too, and they were all first-rate.

It's worth the visit for the 7 pound entrance fee. In about 30 minutes you can see the dining hall where the Harry Potter movies were filmed and the Christ Church cathedral where they offer tours at no extra charge. There is no charge to walk the huge Christ Chuch meadow to the south. At 6 pm every day, there... More

This has to be the star attraction for Oxford U. The medieval buildings are magnificent. Moreover, as Harry Potter fans know, this is the place where The Philosopher's Stone was filmed. You get to see the dining hall, but don't expect candles suspended in mid air or owls delivering mails ;-) Above the high table, you'll see a portrait of... More

I know there's so much to see in Oxford and the architecture is fabulous but I went to Christchurch to see the film sites of Harry Potter. It was so cool to be in the same location as the movie. The school itself is so much more and worth a visit. The gardens are fabulous. The hall is huge and... More

The cathedral is beautiful. We had a lovely lady give us a free tour and she was so informative and friendly. Learned a lot! The quad was lovely and the great hall was set up for a banquet so great to see it in all it's glory. Worth a visit

To see the Harry Potter Dining Room and tour around the college. Discount for student card but nothing much in my view.

To get out of the October drizzle we decided to visit Chris Church College to see the quad, great hall and Cathedral. It was well worth the small entry fee, but the Cathedral was the highlight. A friendly volunteer gave my wife and I a tour and it was well worth the time to hear the incredible history of the... More

Made this our last trip of the day and was really glad we fitted it in. Loved the refectory - inspiration for Harry Potter's refectory.

Maybe a bit expensive compared to other colleges to visit (Balliol's fee is, for example, 2£ and a lot of others are free of charge). But it's definitely worth it as the place is absolutely wonderful and the staff lovely. May you be fan of the Harry Potter saga or not, you will without any doubt love the beautiful staircase,...
