This review complements the one I wrote a week ago. This time, we had an excellent guide who took us around the Dean's garden (not open to public), the cathedral, grounds, and the dining hal. Of course with brilliant explanations. If you don't mind Christian stuff, I strongly recommend you to attend an even song at 6:00 pm everyday. You... More

A very enjoyable and awe inspiring site, the Great Hall, the gardens and above all the Church/Cathedral must be seen if you are visiting Oxford. We had the great good fortune to go on a tour of the Cathedral led by one of the Cathedral guides, a Christ Church ex scholar Michael Walker, who gave a fascinating insight into the... More

There was a looooong queue - very touristic. They have a nice beautiful garden to approach to the college hall. It was very expensive to enter, and they just basically show the hall. it is a good way of making money thanks to Harry Potter. But at least we see some great alumni's paintings on the wall.

A nice experience but in my opinion the entrance fee is rather expensive. The cloister and the cathedral is beautiful.

This college is so worth a visit. It is opposite Alice's Shop, and of course Lewis Carrol studied here. There are also Harry Potter references of course and the Great Hall is a must see. The church is wonderful with a great history and the courtyards are stunning. Don't miss it.

Gorgeous exterior and wonderful photo ops but the 9 pound entry fee is WAY TOO MUCH and we chose to not go inside especially on a very rainy day. walked all around it for free and was good enough for a blustery day. I wouldn't mind paying a few quid to go inside but 9 is just way silly

Beautiful architecture and gardens, So much history here, We especially enjoyed the cathedral with its detailed stained glass windows. The Great Hall (which was used for the hall in the Harry Potter films) has so many connections to the story of Alice in Wonderland including a hidden spiral staircase that inspired Lewis Carrol's (Charles Lutwidge Dodson who was a dean... Great tour of one of the top Oxford colleges. The refectory is particularly interesting as is Oxford cathedral which is located inside the college precinct.

When visiting Oxford, I strongly recommend seeing as many of the colleges as possible and in particular this wonderful site. The entrance fee is 9 Pounds-($20 Aus). The college is open from 10.15am-4.15pm. However, the dining hall is closed during the student lunch period- 11.40am-2.15pm. It's worth visiting around these times, as the hall is well worth seeing. Considered to... More
