We found the skipper to be very friendly and he had an excellent knowledge of oxford. The trip was really enjoyable and I would recommend to anyone.

we were 2 couples, and after the usual giggling and micky taking we decided the other man in the group would have a go, well it was nearly a disaster, but hilarious as the 2 men tried to swap positions, but a really pleasant way to spend an hour, we passed a young couple just drifting with a very lavish... We were given this trip as a gift as the person knew I had a great love of historical architecture. What a shame the 'Oxford' boat trip actually took us directly out of Oxford along a bland stretch of the Thames. The chap piloting the boat, or whatever the nautical term is, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Oxford... More

I booked this as a birthday surprise for my partner. We arrived at Folly Bridge just strolling down St Aldate's from the city centre and she had no idea what we were doing other than it was a surprise outing. A success all round I must say. We seated ourselves at the bows of the launch and it was the... More

Phoebe punted my wife and me along the waterways of Oxford. The seats were comfortable and the trip took over 30 minutes. It was so relaxing and on a beautiful autumn day. Just as I had imagined the boat trip would be. Would recommend it to anyone

We had a lovely boat trip from Folly Bridge which was on a small boat taking just 12 people which made it very personal. The river was very calm and pretty and our driver and guide was friendly and talked about the various sights we passed. There were many people practicing rowing on the river - which is as you... OK, I accept I have high expectations but lacklustre and uninspiring spring to mind with this cruise and I don’t think it met the grand description within the company’s web site. The outward journey did not take you through Oxford as I had anticipated and indeed as the web-site promised i.e. ‘taking-in the iconic sights of Oxford town’. I was... More

A truly relaxing 50 minutes cruising the Thames. Thanks to Phil, the personality skipper with his informative & funny commentary. We will definitely be back for the four hour Abingdon cruise.

We had a really relaxing afternoon. The weather was sunny and warm, with a lovely breeze. The lunch was delicious washed down with a glass of wine, followed by strawberries and cream. The trip down the river was interesting, thanks to Noah our trip guide. All together a delightful afternoon.

Took a cruise today after booking and receiving a discount the day before. A lovely, relaxing 50 minutes. The boat goes slowly and it has to come back the way it came so you don't see a massive amount, but the skipper, Peter, has a lot of interesting (and funny) anecdotes and a very British, dry sense of humour. Definitely... More
