Small well stocked shop, with pleasant owner and staff. Trev, though rarely seen, is the rotund epitome of a butcher, whilst Lee, his extremely efficient albeit manager is whippet lean, but the son of another local butcher, and has been in the trade, first with his father and for several years now with Trev, since before leaving school! Walk back in time to when butchers knew and loved their meat and your shopper experience was one where it was completely chanelled into finding exactly what you wanted and then supplying it. Trev Beadle has been a butcher all his life. In his window hang flitches and sides of home cured , dry, salted or smoked bacon and ham... More
