I enjoy this arena as it is smaller and feel more involved with the. concerts or whatever I have gone to watch. Very good viewings wherever I have sat. It is slightly out of town and not much car parking nearby.

While the ice hockey was hugely entertaining the venue lacked a bit. It is located very close to the town centre and was only a short walk from our hotel. The lack of toilet facilities for such are large crowd meant there was a long que during every intermission. This also led to long ques at the food stations as... More

Visited here last night for a Gary Barlow concert. Whilst the concert itself was excellent, the venue let down the experience somewhat. Drinks choice was limited, and what was available was ridiculously expensive! Venue website lists local car parks however none of these are signposted. Tried asking several attendants to point us in the right direction and none of these... More

First of all, I believe the objective here is to review the venue. I'll keep separate the fantastic performance of Elbow. There were several aspects about the venue that was disappointing. The signposting to car parks is poor, and these are somewhat local anyway as the venue has no car park. The disabled parking is street parking, which without local... More

The efficiency of the staff is outstanding. Safety is a "first priority". PLenty of bars, food outlet and restrooms available. An added free extra! You can watch the skaters on the ice rink while waiting to go to your show. Great area! Not too hot and never too cold! They got it just right. The layout of the seating on... More

Another shocking experience when ordered hot dog yesterday at Harlem Globetrotters show and been told to wait for couple of minutes. 2 customers who were after me were served with hotdog before me. This is not the first poor experience at NIC which is really shame since everything else is really good. The catering manager should be sacked for incompetency,... More

Very expensive drinks and would you believe no ice for the gin and tonics. Good security staff who were very helpful.

This like all arenas is huge, but is a good venue for large shows, artistes to perform. Seating is tolerably comfortable, but unless you are careful you have to negotiate very steep stairs, sometimes without handrails. Even the low down seating requires some stairclimbing (without rails). Lots of expensive food and drinks to purchase and long queues for the toilets... More

Good central location with a great atmosphere but ridiculously expensive for eating and drinking with limited choice of drinks and plastic food!! Go elsewhere for these things before and after!!
