My boyfriend and I went on the Terror Tour of the Galleries of Justice for a fun and affordable date night. Loved every minute of it. Period costumes, some actual history, and a very spooky tour of the cells and caves. Would definitely recommend for couples as most of our group was couples in their twenties. Might not terrify some... More

3 of us went here ranging in age from 43 down to 4. All of us had a good time with something for everyone. The tour guides were great in period costume and seemed knowledgeable of the subjects they were discussing. we decided to try and solve the murder which added to the experience. Plenty to see and do, will... More

This was our second visit to the Galleries. First time was brilliant, second time we got more involved helping to solve a murder mystery. The actors and guides are brilliant and play the parts very well. A great day out if you are not in a hurry. Five star all the way.

I really enjoyed my time at this museum, all the staff were polite and informative and the actors on the guided tour were very competent and well versed, particularly the sheriff of Nottingham. The tour was full of interesting facts and stories with hands on activities that teenagers can enjoy. The exhibitions were well presented you really got a great feel... More

Guided tour, into the court room and we were given clip boards to fill in the clues etc, we were investigating a murder. From the court room to the jail below, to find the clues etc. The prison is how it was in the 1800's and there are LOTS of steps and head room is limited in some places (beware).... More

What a brilliant place to visit. The experience was not to be missed and was informative. The staff knew their job and there was no rush which gave you time to read the posters and literature.

I have visited this attraction 3 times now and really enjoyed it each time. The actors are brilliant and bring the court room to life. The small temporary exhibitions are really interesting and make each visit slightly different. After watching Most haunted at the Galleries I was hoping to feel the odd cold spot but unfortunately didn't. Maybe their resident... More

A hidden little gem. Provides a great insight into Victorian Law and Order. I would have never have thought that public hangings were carried out on the entrance steps. The cells are quite grim. When we were there today we took part in a murder 'who dunnit'.A couple of the actresses need to improve on their acting skills as they... More

A wet day in Nottingham, so we visited the galleries of Justice. These are in the old county courthouse and the old police station next door, where they have there museum. We went on the tour, being informed there had been a murder, and we had to solve it. We questioned the suspects and took into account the facts as... More
