This is a fascinating place. The tour starts with a whodunit murder style introduction. Everyone on the tour did not seem interested in this however. It was good to go around at your own pace and discover the harshness of the penal system even 150 years ago. The personal stories through out the place was a nice touch and added... More

I found this place rather interesting; lots of informative facts and the tour was made all the more interesting as it was in the form of a who done it and you had to guess who the murderer was by asking the cast questions on the way round. Fun for all the family! After the tour you were left to... More

This is a great attraction, for old and young alike. Try going on a ghost hunt here! But if you come in the day, it's equally as good!

Took my 2 boys aged 7&8. They enjoyed the experience despite feeling a bit nervous about visiting the dungeons. Good mixture of displays and interaction which kept the children engaged. There is a cafe but we didn't try it.

It's a guess who the murderer is tour. Interesting facts on the way round. Not suitable for wheel chair users, as all up and down stairs.

This is an excellent visitors attraction keeps both adults and children enthralled with the Victorian Justice system. Couple this with a visit to the caves and a splendid day out for all the family

Not sure what I expected here but, having planned to go for many months & waited for friends to join us, was bitterly disappointed with the fare served up. Essentially you are given a mock series of clues with which to solve a murder. The lady introducing the whole thing was difficult to hear & appeared vaguely disinterested. The clues... More

We went here using a Groupon offer so got a great price for a family of four. Had a lovely day out, learnt a lot about the history of criminals and the justice system, my kids (9 and 12yrs) enjoyed it too. Loved the role play aspect in the court room, staff were brilliant and played a great part. I... More
