Absolutely amazing

I visited with family members and it took us over an hour to look around all the great objects on show, really fascinating and very eye opening i would recommend for all ages.

I visited with family members and it took us over an hour to look around all the great objects on show, really fascinating and very eye opening i would recommend for all ages.

A great place to visit. An interactive tour with the staff and visitors getting involved. A good mix of museum boards and exhibits and stuff to do

As we waited for a tour guide we didn't expect to have actors. They were very knowledgeable and gave a clear concept of how the building. They expressed it's history by choosing people from the group to act things out. This isn't really my thing so was a little set back and was more worried about being picked on than... More

Good concept, but executed in a by now old fashioned way. However, it is interesting to see how justice was meted out in past times - protecting the victim, not the criminal!

During our trip to Nottingham City we decided to try the Galleries of Justice. The primary reason why we wanted to visit this attraction was to get involved in the mock trial. I took a foreign visitor to this attraction. That day there was no particular activity on, but they allowed the two us to go round and enjoy the courts and venue to our hearts content. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Ifound it quite scary and conditions terrible for prisoners at that time,i went on a scary ride inside there ,you can spend a couple of hours inside there

When I arrived there I just thought it was a mock up of the courts. I visited this place just as it had closed and before it was open to general public, it was a really amazing tour, the guide who took us round was so interesting and knowledgeable, you were took back in time and the history was great, we went down a ladder to the condemned cell which was so small. make sure you have plenty of time, this is a great attraction, but can take all day, there is lots to see. Don't miss out on the adjoining attraction which is the police museum .
