Great venue for a night out. Has 3 different rooms and many, many bars. I'd say watch your bag/pockets because it has a reputation for thieves and phone theft. Free to get in on a Saturday with the guest list. Just watch the floor too, i've slipped many a times (not due to alcohol, I swear…) because it's so slippy,... More

Attended quite a few gigs here in the past but was disappointed that the sight lines are so poor that unless you are 6ft 2 or at the front you have to just listen to the band rather than actually see the show itself. Well located in the city centre and drinks are reasonable but please give it a clean.

We went here to watch UB40. First thing I noticed on entry was the sticky floor. There were lots of bars around the place and service was quick and polite. It was full, but there was room to move. Toilets were easily located and were clean. It is a great venue for music and we will be returning to watch... More

Primary reason for my visit was to see "band of skulls" play the last date of their current tour. The main room where the gig was held was excellent, good views from all areas and you can get really close to the stage unlike many venues where there is a ridiculous wide crowd control area. Sound quality was good and... More

Cheap to get in, really good crowd and loved the variety of music - will definitely be going again! We arrived about 11:30pm and didn't have to queue to get in which was a bonus. There's been a gig on earlier in the evening so I imagine a lot of people had stayed for the Hey Hey Hey night afterwards.

Went to see Newton Faulkner he was amazing, however it cost over £10 for 2 drinks (just spirit & mixer) the people were rude & noone seemed to care if they were standing next to you or on you! I wont be going again

Always a great night, such a good venue. Small enough that you don't get lost, and always have sight of the band, but big enough to get the great atmosphere. Also a balcony, for those who dare not brave the floor (ie. me!) Bar staff always quick (drinks are your usual slightly overpriced, but that's everywhere now). Stage team are... More

Great to see bands, we went to see John Newman, but please do not wear good clothes, been going for years and it never changes, tacky sticky floors and stinks, especially the gross toilets. The only reason i gave it 4* were for the bands that play, because despite everything the sounds are good. There is a cloakroom for coats... More
