Always a fun night here, I have seen many many bands here and every time has been a winner. Great atmosphere, not band staff. Could do with a floor that seems to get sticky less. The sticky floor is the biggest letdown to me. The service at the bar could be quicker and the toilets could be cleaned maybe... Other... More

Atmosphere is electric and all the staff are friendly and have a laugh! Gigs here are brilliant floors sticky but that's the only issue I had!

Not being from Nottingham I was unsure what the parking was like for thus venue do I calked them the day we were due to visit, the young girl who answered the phone was most helpful and was very patient, Bug Thank you. The venue itself was good as long as you didn't want to move after you found your... More

It's been a long time since I visited Rock City.... Was pleasantly surprised that it hasn't changed much. Had a very enjoyable evening there. The only downside was not being able to remember how I got home :)

I could not possibly count the number of times I've been here, before I was 18 this was absolutely the place to be. The last time I was here was for Airbourne in 2013. I don't dislike the place and I'm always happy to see the same bloke in the gents offering soap etc. but ultimately the customer is not... More

I had my phone stolen from a secured bag (through a lock and zip on my person) here twice. The second time I'd learnt my lesson and when they found the old Nokia I caught them trying to put it back in my bag. After telling the bar staff they asked me to move aside because they wanted to serve... More

Growing up Rock City was the go-to place to watch all your favourite bands and it's still the place where I have witnessed some of my favourite shows. I saw Bombay Bicycle Club there earlier this year and it was such an amazing show, the stage production was so impressive. I like how you don't feel crowded in there either.... More

We've now seen a few bands here in both the small and the large room. The small room (UK Foo Fighters and Foreigner's Journey) was brilliant and a really good atmosphere (although the bar can be awkward to get to, as it's just next to the stage!). The big hall is good, and not too big, (Haysee Dixie) and plenty... More

If you are ever visitng Nottingham for a night out DO NOT go to this place! Not only is it full of chavs but the place as a whole is just disgustingly dirty! Ladies, your feet stick to the floor so bad you cannot walk without your shoes comming off. The toilets are always wrecked, the staff clearly don't check... More
