The drama has always been stimulating, entertaining and well produced (including the pantomimes ), the dance and comedy well done and the special shows for younger children in the studio well thought out and very suitable for the age range they were... Nottingham would be lost without it! Love this theatre- the best in town! Always something interesting and thought provoking- the Bar is great, food too and most of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful to sit outside on a warm evening and watch the world go by. Parking is free after 6.p.m. and the venue is easily located being... More

Went to see the ELO experience on 22/03/14. Lovely place, good views from all seats by the look of it.

Of course the show you see, will effect the way you feel about the Playhouse but I've been many times, seen good, bad and absolutely amazing shows. There is a bar/restaurant which I have used for drinks but never food purely because it hasn't been practical for me rather than any other reason. Book yourself some tickets and try it... More

Went to see Of Mice and Men at the playhouse. Was a great show and the seats were amazing. However the halls were a bit narrow and got very crowded at the interval and some of the staff seemed quite bored and unenthusiastic - overall a pleasant afternoon
