We arrived for a surprise birthday treat, with 45 minutes before our tee time we walked into an empty Claret Jug ( 19th hole ) and asked for 2 toasted tea cakes and two bacon sandwiches. " Sorry only bacon and sausages sandwiches because the gas is off" so we thought and discussed and asked if we could have 3... More

Slaley is an hour away from where I live. Therefore I have played both courses many times as a guest. The place oozes style. Both courses are excellent tests of golf with views to die for. The Preistman wins hands down for the sheer championship scale, but the Hunting is more than a capable second course. The courses condition this... More

A group of 8 have recently returned from a 2 day golf break at Slaley Hall, however we have left very disappointed after the good reviews fellow golfers have previously left. The good points (Hunting Course) - Great course and in great condition from the tee boxes to the greens non of us had any complaints. There was a wide... More

We played the Hunting course and it was a wonderful experience. Course was in immaculate condition, well laid out and a good challenge. The scenery around the front 9 is breath-taking and possibly the best golf course I've played

Expensive over subscribed on the Golf Course. 6 Hrs to play a round is ridiculous. old and drinks are not worth the money you paid for them. Im the middle of nowhere, not signal for mobiles or wifi.

Great overnight stay at slayley . Golf course immaculate, bar prices over the top as you would expect. Had evening dinner in the 19th hole . Meal was ok (£19 per head) but was overcrowded and a bit congested with golfers finishing their round and doing the same thing which spoilt it a bit. Would have preferred eating in a... More

Having received vouchers for clay pigeon shooting and 3 course diner for two at Christmas, I took a friend. The shooting experience was fine. Thanks Paul! But when we went for lunch it turned out to be from a restricted bar meal menu. Not the 3 course lunch paid for and expected. The young ladies serving did not know what... More

£107 for a 2 day golf break which included 2 rounds of golf, bed, breakfast and evening meal. Played the Huntington course on the Thursday and couldn't find fault, what a fantastic course and a great test of golf. Played the priestman course on the Friday and again what a great test of golf, there had been a Europro event... More

Choice of 2 championship standard courses, the priestman and the hunting. The priestman is the smaller but both as challenging as each other. The hunting has held many PGA events and the signature par 4 9th is one of the best he's in golf, big par 4 uphill with stunning picturesque surroundings. But for a course of this quality you...
