We visited today using a Groupon voucher for 2 people, were greeted as soon as we entered, we were shown to a table and the choices that were available were explained to us. The food was very tasty, hot homemade soup (lentil & bacon), freshly prepared sandwiches, (tuna mayonnaise, BLT) both made with bakery bread, followed by homemade cake, all... More

I loved the idea of a restaurant in an old railway carriage. We called in for lunch. It was a sunny day and we bathed in the sunshine behind the carriage windows. There were books about the area on the tables for us to read. There was a bird table just by the window and I don't think I have... More

Took advantage of the Groupon voucher. Service was good, quick and the waitress very polite. It was busy, nearly full, both times I've been. Afternoon tea was good value, good sandwiches and the cake I had was very nice. Coffee comes in a cafetiere, big plus in my books. Chance to see the old station was an added bonus and... More

5 of us used our Groupon voucher which was for soup and Sandwich cake and tea. The homemade soup was delicious, and we had a variety of sandwich filling all of which were very good, but the ham was home cooked and very tasty. Great selection of homemade cakes to finish off. A lovely afternoon out will definitely be back... More

We decided to try it out and have morning tea here. We ordered 2 scones and 2 cups of coffee. when the waitress bought out our scones she only had one with her so we mentioned that we actually ordered 2. She came back a couple minutes later with just an extra scone on a plate - no jam &... More

Visited with my mum today. Had a Groupon voucher offering soup, sandwich, cake and hot drink for 2. Booked prior to attending. After working out where to park (there's no car park as such - just park where you can so how they cope in the busy summer months I shudder to think), mum and I walked along the old... More

We decided to take the wodland walk before eating and arrived dripping wet with very wet and and muddy dog after a downpour. We were all welcomed into the warmth and ordered soup and sandwiches, and were served tasty hot soup and sandwiches made with lovely fresh bread and tasty fillings. Couldn't manage a slice of homemade cake so bought... More

They are just marvellous at The Garden Station. Booked a private birthday tea party, only about 10 days before, gave them a brief idea of what we wanted and boy did they deliver!!! There were about 20 of us, adults a few children and 2 babies. We had the most wonderful 'Afternoon Tea' of sarnies, scones, cakes and then birthday... More
