Not 100, not 500 but 1000 acres of Northumberland moorland and forest play home to this magnificent, elegant Edwardian mansion. That the interiors are almost as dramatic as the exterior says it all. This is very old world grandeur with a modern twist. Bask in the warmth of the reception you receive on arrival, dine at Hadrian's Brasserie, or at the Duke's Grill. Indulge with a vichy water spa treatment or just flop in the fantastic indoor pool. The great outdoors doesn’t get much greater. After a bracing country walk in the wilds, or round on our championship golf course, retire to the Claret Jug and the 19th Bar for a stiff brandy. Surely you deserve it ?

I attended slaley hall spa in October 2015 for my nieces 18th birthday along with two older family members. It was a fantastic day and Kelly and her team go above And beyond to make your stay a memorable one. The treatments are amazing and by far the best we have ever had, bearing in mind we attend numerous spas... More

I have just spent a spa weekend with my daughter. Great start first day, fantastic meal in the evening especially a specially made Fruit salad because all the other items had dairy products in. Second day not so great the lunch that was part of the package was truly awful. Stringy greens in the Greek salad, pasta with no pesto,... More

My daughter Ellie, bought me a spa day treat for Christmas, I was really looking forward to going, and was not disappointed, every staff member with exception of none was excellent, they couldn't do enough for you, the afternoon tea was lovely, service was prompt and waitress was very friendly, changing room was busy but manageable, towels and dressing gown... I stayed overnight with a friend for a weekend of relaxation away from the kids. On arrival our room was ready, lovely and clean with beautiful views. Our meals were excellent and the staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only downside was that despite asking several times throughout the day the spa had no... More

We booked a one night detox spa break at Slaley Hall. Check in was so simple, our room was clean, well decorated with the most comfortable beds. We had dinner, breakfast and a spa lunch included, amazing quality and quantity. The spa area was very clean, tidy and very welcoming. The spa staff are friendly, professional and informative. A huge... More

Went with friends for a spa day with afternoon tea... Generally enjoyable however there appeared to be considerable disconnect between the different aspects of the complex. A lack of flushing toilets due to some maintenance work was a little disconcerting (things happen) but the initial lack of concern and knowledge as to when the toilets would again be able to... Room was so dated and painfully over priced , initially thought we had paid for an upgraded so rang reception who very rudely explained we had got what we paid for.. Breakfast was truly awful , service very poor , table a mess , food cold when is was available , all the juice warm , no water , toast... More

It's been a while, since I was last at hotel, forgot how much I love it from the old lounges, great pool and sauna, amazing golf holes and great walks. Hotel in need of a little love but luckily the friendly team, facilities and location make up for it easily. PS I know it's winter but open the claret.jug when hotel... More
