A pleasant afternoon.

This opens at noon so we starter with a light lunch alongside Rodney the parrot. Then after a tour around the gardens we also had afternoon tea here. A good place to visit.

Revisited Cotton Manor twice in the last month after a gap of several years. I had forgotten how beautiful the gardens are. Each area gives the keen gardener lots of inspiration for planting and garden design and the bluebell woods are a joy in early, mid May. Had an excellent quiche and salad at the little cafe in the courtyard... More

I can't improve on what others have written about the gardens, they are stunning. Try to get here during the bluebell season and walk in the bluebell wood. My praise is reserved for the quality of the food in the tearoom. The baguettes are fresh, the ham of very good quality and the tomatoes tasty.

Beautiful place, well looked after and close to Northampton. Can get very busy on bank holidays but don't let it stop you for visiting the amaZing gardens. Don't forget to visit the nursery too, the plants have done very well in our garden :)

These are lovely gardens set on a Northamptonshire hillside with water features and duck species, chickens and a few flamingos thrown in. The bluebell wood is spectacular in May. There is also a good nursery, well-labelled with a good variety of plants. The only slight downside was the coffee cake from the tearoom which looked lovely but didn't taste as... More

I can see why Coton manor gardens are mentioned in the book called "1001 gardens you must see before you die". Located on page 276 of the said book you will be able to read endorsing words from an expert. Situated at Guilborough in Northamptonshire this 10 acres of ultra special gardening skill is stunning. Our visit was in springtime,and... More

I visited in May with my 14 and 11 year old daughters who don't really "do outdoors" but we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon there. £2.50 entry for children is great value and £7.00 is not too bad for an adult. The gardens are immaculately kept and varied with plenty of interesting features including streams, ponds etc. It was great to... More

Went to see the bluebells. Only problem was the cafe area cannot cope with the influx of people at certain times so had to go elsewhere for refreshments x

First time here even though only 25 miles from home. Just managed to catch the bluebells looking lovely. Gardens also gorgeous and very interesting, you can buy lovely healthy plants cultivated there. There's a little gift shop and cafe. Food very good at normal prices. Entry fee of £7 seems a little steep but after seeing everything you realise it's... More
