Was such a great way to see York very enjoyable and the guide had us all laughing! At only £5 each it was such good value. We had Dan and he was such a good actor and handled a few teenagers who were following us at the start with great tact and fun (they soon got the message to leave).... More

It's a brilliant hour and odd to give you chills down your spine. The stories stick in your head. I went a good while back now and I still remember them all. Better if you go on a chilly, dark evening.

This was disappointing. One hour, 15 mins of which was walking to a start point, introductions and money. Then there was maybe 3 or 4 stories and even they wasn't very good. Slow story telling, a lot of acting drawing it out getting people involved and micky taking. Didn't even go near any haunted pubs. Id say theres got to... More

I had no idea what to expect from this but I was not disappointed! Our tour was lead by a mysterious man who said his name was unimportant. He lead us around various spooky spots in York city centre and told us some chilling tales.... Whilst also making everyone laugh and getting everyone involved! It was my first time visiting... More

A funny, interesting tour taking us on a spooky and entertaining walk around the centre of York, with plenty of surprises along the way. The leader was great at interacting with the audience and so funny. We really enjoyed it!

We didn't know what to expect but we were not disappointed. The guy that takes you round if very impressive and funny. He gets you all involved so don't be shy. For a fiver each you cant go wrong it lasts about an hour well worth it.

Went on this after the Terror Trail. Do the Terror Trail. This was corny and only got about 4 stories. Aimed more at children.

I really didn't know what to expect going into this, but he won me over straight away. Every joke landed with me, and I thought he was hilarious. It was a good mixture of comedy and some serious ghost stories at 'real' locations (with a bit of magic thrown in there...). It lasted over an hour, and at only £5... More

Went on this with two kids aged 4 and 7 (and our dog too!). We all had a great time! Host is excellent and tells stories with enthusiasm and a good level of audience participation. Theatrical, but not overly so. Perfect balance between seriousness and humour. Length was also just right, as was the cost.

Bad corny jokes, over priced, irreverrent, but what a way to make a killing he must walk away with over £300 per night for about 1 hour. Not a bad way to get rich?
