one of the best pantomimes yearly! building is good, however sometimes sound system lets the performance down, this has happened on all the occasions we,ve been. toilets really need updating! not enough for the people that require them during intervals so you have to queue and rush.

This is a beautiful theatre with some great productions, including the famous pantomime. Good food in the cafe, if you can get a seat as always busy, and people who are not eating tend to take up space which is ridiculous and I have asked them politely to move in the past. Gets very cramped in the foyer and cafe... More

Marvellous that you could visit back stage. Wind in the willows was lovely. Not sure about being allowed to eat in the theatre itself!

We arrived early for our show 'a taste of honey' so we decided to eat at the theatre. Surprisingly good food at a quite reasonable price. I had nachos with chilli beef. Yum. My husband had chickpea casserole, also yum! The show was very good, as is everything and anything by Hull Truck. All in all, a good night out.

We are avid theater goers (over 600 plays in 43 years), so whenever we travel we try to take in a few local productions. We were surprised, no we were shocked, at just how wonderful Witness for the Prosecution was at the Old Guildhall Chambers (perfect location by the way). We were both thrilled and mesmerized by the writing, directing,... More
