A must visit shop of porcelain/china figurines and dining room and kitchen stuff. One of the best selections possible, very helpful staff. Great tea room upstairs with excellent food. Love the home made lemon pie when they have it! More

I hadn’t seen this review before visiting York, but found the store on a very wet day. What a wonderful find, it is a labyrinth of rooms containing such a wide variety of China; Glassware and amazing Craftsman made pieces of various arts. Its like visiting a Museum. This is a regualr haunt of ours as they always make us so welcome. The coffee shop is hidden away inside the shop but does the most lovely meals or snacks. I honestly can't find a better toasted tea cake. All the cakes are hand made and they will do there upmost to be of help. All the drinks and... More

Pleasant little oasis tucked away inside a lovely shop that sells beautiful designer crockery, ornaments, etc. Serves tea and cake, light lunches, etc in a civilised fashion at reasonable prices.
