Since October 2013, the Catholic Church of St Wilfrid has been in the care of priests of the Oxford Oratory. St Wilrid's stands in the shadow of the minster, which it replaced as the city's (Catholic) cathedral during the 19th century. It's a fine, Victorian Gothic church and worth a few minutes of your time and, unlike the mister, it's still an actual, living church rather than a pay-to-enter theme park.
