The title says it all. The guide really knew his stuff, not just from a script. It was packed with historical facts not just scary stuff. There are loads of ghost tours to choose from but I would definitely recommend this one.

In all honesty, I wasn't that impressed with York, until that is, I went on one of the terror walks! A mix of historic facts, humour and fantastic sight seeing opportunities. I will certainly be going back for more, perhaps in the winter, when it's darker :)

Joseph was our tour guide, very nice friendly fella and very informative. No gimmicks just the truth about the history of York. Beautiful city. very good and interesting tour. i would do it again.

Great entertainment. Learned a good bit about the history of the lovely City and what it would have been like. The guide (think he said his name was Damien) was very entertaining and kept me interested.
