Excellent ghost walk, really informative and interesting and amusing. Superb guide who held everyone's interest for the whole time and told great stories. Suitable for adults and kids alike. Good value for money (£5 per adult, £3 per child).

Ray was very good. He is a real gentleman who was prompt and extremely knowledgeable about the history of York. His stories are delivered well and captivated the small group (12). The tour lasts about 75 mins and at £5.00 is good value.

Captivating storytellers, and a nice way to see York. Very good value for a fiver each. There is a huge amount of competition in York for these ghost walks but I can see why these guys have stayed in business for so long.

This is a great ghost walk even if you don't believe in ghosts! Our guide was excellent and the walk was both entertaining and informative. We walked round many of the sights of York and our guide told us ghost stories interspersed with anecdotes. He was both personable and knowledgeable. Recommended. Sets off from the Kings Arms at the side... More

As this was to be our friend rat ghost tour and something we were very much looking forward to, we thoroughly researched each and as you'll know if you are doing the same, it's very difficult to determine which will be the best, however we decided on this one and we are so glad we did. We met our guide... More

Great guide, both scary and funny. Very good for all ages and great value for money. Involves everyone. Enjoyed the fact that as it was January when we did the walk it was dark at 7.30 which added to the atmosphere and also there were not too many people around to interfere.

I've lived in York for almost three years and never done a ghost walk. So, after some research, I decided to go on this tour - it was definitely the right choice. At £5 per adult, this is great value for almost two hours of entertainment. There are no gimmicks, whereas a few of the other tours seem to focus... More

Guide was very interesting, and knowledgable. More of a local historian than an actor. Would recommend to anyone, brilliant value

we have done this ghost walk several times over the many years we have been going to York , we have always enjoyed the walk, the storyteller we have encountered over the past few years does not rely on gimmicks or theatrical embellishments but rather a true sense of atmosphere that chills you to the bone while letting your mind...
